Differentials XI – FPL Gameweek 18 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Argh!! Too many games now!! There’s not enough time to keep up. Furiously, we’re straight into the next set of games.

Backline was brilliant in midweek, with Pope’s 11 coming in when Mignolet took time out. Still, Robertson helped produced a Liverpool cleanie too. Holgate and Mangala both did the same, with only sub Joe Gomez letting me down.

In midfield I had goals from Mahrez and Son (again) and an assist for Bernardo, whose start I’d predicted. Arnautovic was unlucky not to score against Arsenal, though Calvert-Lewin up front was a disappointment.

Goalkeeper

Pope (5.7%) remains given his sparkling recent form and the fact that Burnley travel to shot-shy Brighton, and the Clarets have taken points from far harder places than the Amex this term. He’s on the bench though, with Cech (5.2%) in the team with Arsenal facing Newcastle at the Emirates.

Defenders

Big Sam’s arrival has seen Williams (2.6%) take his place back in the Everton side, so he’s in this week as they host his old club Swansea during MNF. Chelsea’s lineup is a little tricky to call at the moment, but I’m going for Rudiger (2.1%) against Southampton in a nice game at Stamford Bridge. Kabasele (2.4%) at home to Huddersfield is also in, while Smalling (4.4%) away at West Brom is a pick based on the Baggies remaining unable to find the net from Pardew’s two matches in charge so far. On the bench, Gomez (5.9%) remains, away to Bournemouth.

Midfield

Mahrez (7.8%) is the Differentials star man right now, and he’s probably one more goal away from becoming ineligible for the team. Alongside him, I’m keeping Arnautovic (0.6%) too, as he looked sharp against Arsenal and he’ll be looking to go back to Stoke this week and show them up. Ozil (2.3%) is my luxury pick at home to the Toon, but I have no qualms with you disagreeing, while Shaqiri (9.7%) lines up against Arny when Stoke host the Hammers on Saturday. On the bench, Fabregas (4.4%) is there, as I think he’ll be reinstated at the Bridge.

Strikers

Okazaki (5.2%)is unlikely to score again but given Palace are Leicester’s opposition and they’re at home, it’s not impossible. Calvert-Lewin (9.7%)remains in – I wanted Rooney but he’s over the threshold – so he’s in in a nice game versus Swansea. My real wildcard on the bench is Solanke (1.7%). Given Klopp’s tendency to rotate of late and Solanke almost grabbing the winner on Wednesday, he may get the surprise nod as the Reds go to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
