Differentials XI – FPL Gameweek 24 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Last time out was an unremarkable yet steady score of 35 for the Differentials XI, which in a low scoring gameweek saw us rise in the rankings ever so slightly.

Here’s how the team looked:

The only few things of note consisted of David Luiz’s piece of brilliance, Benteke’s goal and Coleman’s assist. Despite this, it wasn’t gameweek to write home about. Giroud managed to dive under the 10% threshold as the deadline approached and as a reward, he managed 1 point. Thanks Olivier, thanks a lot.

Starting XI: Forster (4.6%), Luiz (4.3%), Dawson (1.3%), Coleman (9.7%), Sigurdsson (6.3%), Mkhitaryan (2.3%), Barkley (6.2%), Ozil (7.1%), Giroud (8.6%), Rondon (8.5%), Benteke (5.5%)

Bench: Stekelenburg (2.2%), Shawcross (1.8%), Rose (9.1%), Pereyra (0.3%)

In defence we have 4 home fixtures. Forster is at home to West Ham who just got thumped by Manchester City without reply. Luiz, who showcased what talent he has with his quick thinking on the set piece against Liverpool, has Arsenal this week. Dawson has Stoke which will be an evenly contested game with both sides looking to finish in the top half of the table. Completing the defence is attacking minded Coleman who just sneaks under the ownership barrier at the time of writing.

The midfield consists of 2 new boys. The players I’ve booted might come as a surprise. I’m a Chelsea fan but the rotation headache knowing one of my players will be on the bench every week just isn’t worth it. I was weighing up which one to get rid of but in the end I didn’t know who’d be on the bench in real life so transferred them both out! In come Sigurdsson and Barkley. The latter has proven himself to coach Koeman recently and looks nailed on to start again. At home to Bournemouth he looks like a decent option. The thought process behind Sigurdsson is that he will be key in the relegation battle Paul Clement’s men will inevitably find themselves involved in. Mkhitaryan and Ozil have tricky fixtures away to Leicester and Chelsea respectively so I’m not expecting much from them to be fair.

Up top I’ve gone for Giroud, mainly because the midfield issue was more pressing. With the Chelsea boys, it was 100% certain that one of them would be on the bench whereas with Giroud, it’s 50/50. Rondon has Stoke at home which will be a difficult game; he will need to be up for a battle with Shawcross if he wants to get anything from the game that’s for sure! Finally, captain Benteke has Sunderland at home. They put up a solid fight against Spurs to earn them a draw, but the Black Cats are up against their former boss that has just nabbed van Aanholt from them. Palace will have too much power for me.
