Differentials XI – FPL Gameweek 27 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Last week was a reality check; these double gameweeks are going to be hard to navigate. Here’s how the Differentials XI looked at the end of the week:

So we’ve dropped down to just above the 1 million mark. Thankfully, if it all gets too confusing, we’ve still got all our chips to play.

One change this week as Sigurdsson has exceeded the 10% threshold:

Sigurdsson (OUT) -> Milner (IN)

Here’s how the team looks going into gameweek 27:

Starting XI: Forster (4.2%), Luiz (5.3%), Shawcross (1.8%), Dawson (1.4%), Ozil (6.1%), Mkhitaryan (2.6%), Milner (5.5%), Barkley (7.6%), Chadli (1.9%), Rondon (6.9%), Benteke (5.2%)

Bench: Robles (0.9%), Giroud (1.3%), Funes Mori (3.4%) Fonte (3.5%)

In the net is the ever reliable Forster. Southampton are back in action away to Watford after being robbed of the EPL Cup. They deserved to win so hopefully they aren’t too downbeat and are able to go into the game with a positive attitude. In defence we have David Luiz, who’s Chelsea side will be looking to get over the finishing line and win the league title as soon as possible. What better way to stamp authority on the league than to beat your London rivals in their own back yard. Alongside him is Dawson. Genuinely I don’t know how this guy is only owned by 1% of players. Mr. Reliable plays in a solid defence and pops up with a few goals throughout the season. Completing the defence is… *drumroll*… our first double gameweeker of the year in Shawcross. Okay, it’s not exactly jaw-dropping but it’ll be nice to experience it for the first time this year.

In midfield, I’m currently lining up with 5, however 2 of them are yellow flagged. Ozil and Mkhitaryan are touch and go but both fixtures they could certainly contribute in. The Liverpool v Arsenal game will be intriguing and is why I brought in Milner to replace Sigurdsson. Milner may be playing at left back but doesn’t have a blank coming up and has contributed to 10 goals this campaign. Barkley has Spurs away which will be another competitive top table clash. Ross has proven himself after a sluggish mid section to the season. Chadli is the last man in the midfield and makes the team alongside club teammate Rondon, who sits up top for us, as does their opponent’s striker, Benteke. Another huge game for big Sam and if they want to make the end of the season more comfortable then Christian better start performing to a higher standard.
