Differentials XI – FPL Gameweek 35 Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Last weekend was a reminder as to just how difficult the Differentials XI challenge is. One low scoring week saw us fall from 780k to 1 millionth. Here’s how the team looked at the end of the week:

Differentials XI

Frustrating, but it was coming. No one contributed significantly, with Vertonghen’s clean sheet making him the highest scoring player of the week. The 23 point below gameweek average score has however triggered us in to activating the wildcard. Exciting times! It’s been a struggle settling on a team given the constraints but I’ve tried to focus on those with upcoming double gameweeks.

Here’s the host of changes, and how the Differentials XI look going into the next gameweek:

Differentials XI

Starting XI: Forster (4.1%), Fuchs (5.4%), Blind (4.5%), Vertonghen (6.2%), Mahrez (8.3%), Mkhitaryan (2.9%), Tadic (1.9%), Sane (5.7%), Chadli (1.5%), Gabbiadini (4.4%), Giroud (2.5%)

Bench: Lloris (8.0%), Deeney (5.9%), Monreal (3.5%), Evans (4.3%)

Despite the wildcard, Fraser Forster remains in between the sticks. He’s a consistent shot-stopper and gets his place in the starting eleven ahead of new boy Lloris, who will be perfect for the upcoming double gameweek.

In defence, Jan Vertonghen also remains. Spurs have been fantastic this year. Christian Fuchs and Daley Blind are newcomers with West Brom and Swansea respectively. Both with good fixtures that should see at least one clean sheet. Nacho Monreal and Jonny Evans are those on the bench and will see some action in weeks to come.

With the 10% limit, decent forwards are hard to come by so the 5 man midfield is back. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Leroy Sane remain. Hopefully their weekend performance will be better than the 0-0 stalemate against each other last night. It was a Mourinho classic. Riyad Mahrez is in for more Leicester coverage. Nacer Chaldi‘s West Brom faces off against the Algerian’s side so that game’s outcome will contribute heavily to this week’s score.

Southampton may have been beat 4-2 by Chelsea but I was impressed by them. Enough so that I’ve doubled up on their attacking coverage. Dusan Tadic and Manolo Gabbiadini are the choices, with the Italian getting the armband after his injury layoff. Troy Deeney and Olivier Giroud complete the squad, however the front line is where there could potentially be changes this week.

As always when the wildcard is active, the team is subject to change. If you have any changes to propose, feel free to tweet us at @FPL_Updates and we will take them into consideration!
