Differentials XI – Gameweek 14 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 13 was somewhat of a frustrating one for the Differentials XI, as we would have scored above average if we hadn’t benched 2 certain players, however it wasn’t truly disastrous.

Before we continue analysing the performance, here is how the Differentials XI looked at the end of the week:

Looking back at last week’s points tally, I’m slightly annoyed. I’m convinced I didn’t bench Eriksen as I specifically talked about him in the article and his explosive potential but it looks as if the website didn’t save my changes. Frustrating! Having 16 points in 2 players sat on the sub’s bench sums up my week with only captain Benteke and goalkeeper Forster contributing more than solidarity appearance points. Hello red arrows, I’ve been seeing a lot of you this year.

Surely this week has to be better! Here’s how the Differentials XI line up:

4

Starting XI: Forster (4.5%), Luiz (2.5%), Mustafi (1.9%), Dawson (1.6%), Erisken (5.2%), Pereyra (0.8%), Pedro (5.0%), Bolasie (5.9%), Snodgrass (5.2%), Benteke (6.2%), Rondon (5.9%)

Bench: Stekelenburg (4.3%), Coleman (5.0%), Wilson (2.9%), Shawcross (2.5%)

Forster retains his place in goal after a clean sheet against Everton. Away to the worst side in the calendar year, Palace, he should be able to replicate his display of last weekend. Chelsea, finally conceded a goal at the weekend, ending a run of 6 straight clean sheets. The Blues’ fixtures until the turn of the year look rather tasty barring the visit to the Etihad. David Luiz may well deliver one of his trademark free kicks on the big occasion. Wenger’s summer signing Mustafi looked to stop the characteristic slump in form the Gunners normally go through throughout November so they’ll be looking to continue their unbeaten streak against West Ham. The Baggies have Watford at home and that will sure to be a tight affair.

I’ve double checked to make sure Erisken is in my starting line up after scoring his first goal since March at the weekend (what a clean strike!). I’ve drafted in Pedro too after another stellar display against Spurs. If the Spaniard keeps up that level of performance, I’m not overly worried about the threat of Willian off the bench. Pereyra, Bolasie and Snodgrass, 3 midfielders that are capable of winning a game for their respective sides; it’s just the fact that they’re so streaky their ownership is so low. Pereyra and Snodgrass have winnable fixtures so I’m hoping for a good return.

Up top I’ve made my second change of the week. Rondon is in for Musa. The Musa experiment failed; turns out he’s not as good in real life as in FIFA. Meanwhile, Benteke holds onto the armband after a 20 point haul last time out.
