FPL Updates Gameweek 16 – Fantasy Premier League Tips

The midweek gameweek has come up trumps for the FPL Updates side and we’re into the top 160k. 74(-4) which included 3 double digit hauls.

Unfortunately we benched 2 goals and an assist. Somehow not one of our players were rested. The one week we had points on our bench! Doherty assisted, Murphy and Kamara both fired.

A great return for the West Ham keeper and it could’ve been so much more. A pen save saw him save 3 of his last 3 spot kicks. A last minute consolation from our own benched Murphy, saw him miss out on a double digit haul. Not much to say about the defence as there were ZERO clean sheets this week. Our 4 defenders amazed 5 points.

Silva played 70 minutes before being taken off and he failed to return in his second game for he side. Meanwhile Sané opened his account for the side and could’ve had 2, if it wasn’t for Ben Foster pulling off some brilliant saves. Salah came off the bench to get an assist, while Richarlison scored and took home 3 bps for a 10 pointer from starting on the wing.

Wilson is the gift that keeps on giving. A goal and an assist along with max bonus points earned him a dozen points. Captain Kane matched Wilson with a 24 pointer. A perfect entry to the team.

Transfers: Saved!

GW16:

Fabianski retains his place against Palace.

Doherty and Alexander-Arnold have away games against Newcastle and inform Bournemouth. The injury of Gomez may affect the Liverpool defence but it may given Trent more game time. Digne has a home game against Watford and he’s somehow managed to avoid an assist over the past few weeks. Alonso has a tough home game against Man City.

Richarlison has a plum home game against Watford who haven’t been great defensively over recent weeks. Salah travels down to Bournemouth in the early kick off. Sane and Silva play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and the blues defence was breached twice at Wolves midweek. What can City do?

The new deadly duo of Kane and Wilson lead the line. Leicester have the task of keeping Kane quiet. Wilson has a home game to Liverpool but the Englishman is fixture proof at the moment.

Captaincy: With games being so close together, picking a nailed on captain is crucial. Therefore it’s between Kane and Salah. Due to the fact Salah was rested midweek, he’s nailed on the start. Bournemouth have been fantastic going forward but the same can’t be said for their defence. Salah gets the armband and I fancy goals in this game.
