FPL Updates Gameweek 29 – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Two swift red arrows on the bounce after just making the 50 point mark with 51. We’ve dropped to 42k but banked a transfer which is ideal for the upcoming blanks. Ideally we’ll roll one each week and gradually bring in the blank players.

A Liverpool defensive massacre in terms of points and an anonymous Salah was a reason to our poor week, as I’m sure many have a double up at the back. It’s not every week three defenders score twice and assist five times.

It’s becoming a regular occurrence that a certain Liverpool defender is carrying our defence. Doherty was booked and conceded in the 91st minute, Leicester conceded and Palace shipped 3 goals to Man Utd. Andy Robertson has been immense and this week he assisted twice to pick up 13 points.

The midfield are really slacking with only an assist from Pogba to show. Jota continues to be brought off early, Salah somehow blanked in a 5-0 win and Son didn’t impact the London Derby.

A late minute change to start Rashford instead of Bednarek cost the side 5 points as he got a 13 minute run out. All 3 Wolves assets blanked against the side bottom of the league which was a big blow for our week. Thankfully we nailed the captaincy with Aguero scoring from the spot and scooping all 3 bonus points.

Transfers: Son to Mané. Son’s stats haven’t been that impressive and I’ve decided to move forward this transfer with Mané immense form. He’s outperforming Salah over the past few weeks and looks a must have for BGW31 and BGW33. The second FT is rolled.

The backline is unchanged but AWB is back in contention and takes 1st sub after returning from injury. Doherty at home to Cardiff looks a banker but it’s nearly impossible to predict how they play. Robertson’s has the Merseyside Derby and come into it clear favourites. I’m not as confident in the Palace and Leicester defence on the road.

Salah and Mané face a poor Everton defence at Goodison Park which should see goals. Pogba and Rashford have Southampton at home before their kind run of games stutter. Jota and Jimenez are at home to Cardiff and similarly to Man Utd, their great run of fixtures end. Jota’s pencilled in for the exit door next week and Jimenez may go too. Big game needed. Aguero rounds out of the XI but Pep has mentioned Aguero is knackered after all these games, so I’m fearing a benching with Jesus back.

Captain: Aguero’s out of contention with the risk of a rest, so it’s down to Pogba or Salah. Everton’s defence is incredibly poor at home while Southampton aren’t great at the back either. Salah’s blanked in 4 of his last 5 games while the Frenchman has just blanked twice in 11 gameweeks! His consistency has gone under the radar as it’s just been a regular occurance. Paul gets the armband.
