Fantasy Premier League Preview – Gameweek 6 – FPL Tips

With a European midweek put aside, a few teams might be a little fatigued from their first European outing of the season. Here’s what’s to come this week and who might be the man from each game to lift you up the rankings.

Fulham vs Watford

Watford have been on a great run and will look to continue performing well under their new manager whereas Fulham have been average but have managed to win a game this season. They will be looking to take the game to the opposition at home but Watford will be wary of the threats.

STAR MAN: Troy Deeney (6.1m)

Certain differential and could be a great pick for this fixture.

PREDICTION: Fulham 0-1 Watford

Burnley vs Bournemouth

Burnley are currently bottom of the table and haven’t looked convincing at all this season. Bournemouth are flying high, currently in fifth on the table. Should be a tight affair with Burnley trying to be conservative in their approach.

STAR MAN: Ryan Fraser (5.7m)

He has been influential in the season so far and is a dangerous attacking threat for the Cherries.

PREDICTION: Burnley 1-2 Bournemouth

Cardiff vs Manchester City

Cardiff haven’t won a single game so far this season and are now up against a Manchester City team who haven’t lost a single game this season. This should be an easy fixture for the Citizens with the attacking prowess of their squad. Can see only one winner from this fixture.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (11.4m)

The Argentine has not got off to a blistering start this season but will surely be looking to go berserk in this game.

PREDICTION: Cardiff 0-2 Manchester City

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle

Palace have been decent to rack up six points this season and will be looking to push on from here. Newcastle on the other hand haven’t gotten the start they would have desired as they have only managed the one point so far. This must be a must win for the Toons to kick-start their season.

STAR MAN: Wilfried Zaha (7.0m)

Pace on the wings can do great damage to this Newcastle defence that is shaky.

PREDICTION: Crystal Palace 2-2 Newcastle

Leicester vs Huddersfield

The Foxes have not been at their best defensively and with their attack not clicking, there are tough times ahead for them. However, a fixture against Huddersfield seems like a promising game to grab the three points from as Huddersfield themselves have failed to win a game so far this season. With low confidences amongst the players, it may just play into the hands of the Foxes.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (8.9m)

Been a while since this man had a party. He could be one of the star players for this week.

PREDICTION: Leicester City 2-0 Huddersfield

Liverpool vs Southampton

Klopp’s side showed their European powers in the mid week fixture against Paris Saint Germain after hammering in an injury time winner. Comparatively, the Saints seem to be no competition. An easy win at Anfield seems to be on the cards for the Merseysiders.

STAR MAN: Mohamed Salah (13.0m)

He has to win back the trust of all FPL managers.

PREDICTION: Liverpool 3-0 Southampton

Manchester United vs Wolves

The Red Devils have reacted well after the defeat to Spurs, with 3 dominant wins on the trot & a home game against the newly promoted Wolves doesn’t seem like one that will trouble them.

STAR MAN: Paul Pogba (8.2m)

He has been the focal point of the United attack over the last 3 games, and we can surely see that converting into points.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 2-0 Wolves

Brighton vs Tottenham

Spurs have been in miserable form of late, with 2 league defeats on the run followed by Champions League misery mid week. Pochettino and his side are in dire need of a convincing result to justify their decision of keeping quiet in the Summer window, and a game against Brighton should be a great opportunity to do just that.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (12.4m)

It’s time the England captain stepped up for his side.

PREDICTION: Brighton 1-3 Tottenham

West Ham vs Chelsea

Super Sunday begins with a big London derby. The Hammers come into this game on the back of their first league win after a drought of 4 games. The Blues on the other hand have been nothing but rampant early in the season. The fixture surely has goals in it, but with the firepower Sarri has at his disposal, Chelsea might just nip it.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (10.9m)

A hat-trick last weekend and rested for the Europa league game midweek. We see points, a lot of points.

PREDICTION: West Ham 1-2 Chelsea

Arsenal vs Everton

An eventful gameweek ends with a cracker of a game, with 2 highly attack minded sides going head to head. The game definitely promises entertainment and a plethora of players who could burst with points. Invest wisely.

STAR MAN: Richarlison (6.6m)

The Brazilian is finally back from suspension and will definitely have something to say in this one.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-2 Everton
