Fantasy Premier League Preview – Gameweek 7 – FPL Tips

The 7th gameweek of the Premier League season is upon us and along with it comes an FPL gameweek 7 preview! A few tasty fixtures in this one so plan your transfer(s) and line-up carefully.

Good luck & may your arrows be green!

West Ham vs Manchester United

West Ham have been poor, having scored just five goals so far this season, but they seem to have some momentum going after a win and a draw in their last two games. Manchester United have been far from convincing, placed 7th at the moment and looking very susceptible to pressure. Things need to change for United and Mourinho soon.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (10.1m)

The Chilean is due returns, having not performed to expectations so far this season, and this seems to be a game in which he can excel.

PREDICTION: West Ham 1-3 Manchester United

Arsenal vs Watford

Arsenal have won four games on the trot, scoring 10 goals in doing so. With their striking force in form, Watford might struggle to come away with anything from the Emirates this time around. Watford’s hope might be the Arsenal defence who have managed just one clean sheet this season. With the form Watford are in, they might put in a fight but Emery’s men will look to win this one and keep the momentum going.

STAR MAN: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (10.8m)

The Gabonese forward seems to be in great form and he will be looking to provide the support for his strike partner up-front.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-0 Watford

Everton vs Fulham

Everton were great in the first half against the Gunners at the Emirates but failed to capitalise on their chances. Fulham have won just one game this season and will be looking to get that second win under their belt soon but that won’t be straight forward against this Everton team.

STAR MAN: Richarlison (6.6m)

He was brilliant in the first half of their last game and will want to make a difference in this one.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-1 Fulham

Huddersfield vs Tottenham

Huddersfield are yet to win a game this season and there already seems to be a sense of fear of relegation amongst the fans. Tottenham came back to win their last fixture after back to back losses in their previous fixtures. Seems like it’ll be an easy Spurs victory considering Kane is back in goalscoring form.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (12.4m)

The big man needs to step up finally to bring his team back to goalscoring form.

PREDICTION: Huddersfield 0-2 Tottenham

Manchester City vs Brighton

Manchester City have already scored 19 goals so far this season and can be devastating against weak opposition defences. This time they face a Brighton side who have failed to win any of their last four fixtures. This game is going to be one way traffic and I guess it’s just about how many can the Citizens score.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (11.4m)

Should start the game and if that happens, this is surely going to be a feast out for him.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-0 Brighton

Newcastle vs Leicester

The Magpies come into this fixture on the back of 8 winless games in all competitions. Leicester on the other hand have shown what an attacking threat they can be with the presence of Jamie Vardy & James Maddison up-front, and that should certainly be enough to see off Rafa and his boys.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (8.9m)

Time to start the party..!?

PREDICTION: Newcastle 1-3 Leicester

Wolves vs Southampton

Early in the season but Wolves have shown the desire and intent it takes to stay and fight in the Premier League. Southampton on the contrary have shown form that replicates their end of last season form. The home crowd behind Wolves should be enough to get them the points.

STAR MAN: Matt Doherty (4.4m)

An attacking full back, playing in a very advanced role, with just 2.4% ownership. You know what to do.

PREDICTION: Wolves 1-0 Southampton

Chelsea vs Liverpool

Saturday ends with undoubtedly the game of the gameweek. Two sides who still hold the record of being unbeaten in the league go head to head at Stamford Bridge. All we can expect from this one is end to end stuff and there will certainly be goals to show for it.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (11.0m)

The Belgian captain will need to step up if the Blues are to get a result from this one.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool

Cardiff vs Burnley

Sunday offers just the one game, and we can vouch for the fact that there isn’t much FPL appeal to offer in this one. We’re expecting one hell of a boring goalless draw so load up on those defenders!

STAR MAN: Neil Etheridge (4.6m)

Cardiff’s shot stopper is bound to be the busier of the two keepers in between the sticks.

PREDICTION: Cardiff 0-0 Burnley

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace

As history suggests, Monday night football has always produced goals & brought in tons of points, and that is simply what we expect in this one with two attack minded sides going head to head.

STAR MAN: Callum Wilson (6.3m)

After netting the winner in the Carabao Cup midweek, he will certainly be pumped up to deliver.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 3-2 Crystal Palace
