Gameweek 33 Preview

The season is drawing to a close as the Fantasy Premier League coincides with the semi-finals of the FA Cup, so just the seven fixtures to warm your appetite with this gameweek.

Palace vs. WBA

Crystal Palace v West Brom

The Eagles are well and truly flying high under their new manager and cannot be beaten at the moment as they head into this game knowing that their opponents have conceded seven goals in their last two games against sides in the bottom three.

STAR MAN – Yannick BOLASIE

One of the classiest attackers in the division, Bolasie wowed us with his first ever hat-trick in the previous weekend.

Everton vs. Burnley

Everton v Burnley

The Toffees are unbeaten four games in a row and will see this as a fantastic opportunity to make it five on the spin. Burnley however are fighting for their lives so it may not be that simple for the home side to gain all three points.

STAR MAN – Leighton BAINES

Baines was fantastic in the away draw at Swansea and he is also a threat with set pieces, as well as that clean sheet bonus.

Leicester vs. Swansea

Leicester City v Swansea

The Foxes are in-form at the moment having won two games consecutively in an attempt to survive in the Premier League, and perhaps they will fancy their chances here against a Swansea side that are chasing their record points tally.

STAR MAN – Jonjo SHELVEY

The Englishman is capable of scoring from absolutely anywhere, whether it is from forty yards out or from the penalty spot.

Stoke vs. Southampton

Stoke City v Southampton

Mark Hughes’ men will be very satisfied with their last gasp equalizer at the Boleyn Ground last weekend and will go into this game with confidence. The Saints still chase a European position in their great season.

STAR MAN – Graziano PELLE

The Italian was back on the score-sheet which should give him a boost going into the game at the Britannia.

Chelsea vs. United

Chelsea v Manchester United

By far and away the tie of the weekend, it will be interesting to see if it will be an attacking or a defensive encounter at Stamford Bridge. Manchester United have been unstoppable as of late but Chelsea march on to the title.

STAR MAN – Eden HAZARD

The talented Belgian has been carrying the team recently since Costa’s injury so the burden will once more very much be on his shoulders.

City vs. West Ham

Manchester City v West Ham

The reigning champions have had a woeful 2015 and this is not the best fixture for them to go into having lost the Manchester derby since they have already lost to the Hammers this season, so it will be a good match.

STAR MAN – Sergio AGUERO

The only glimpse of success this season, Aguero is scoring goals for Manchester City again having got a brace at Old Trafford.

Newcastle vs. Spurs

Newcastle v Tottenham

Despite an extremely promising start to the year, Tottenham Hotspur have faltered away and find themselves adrift of a top-four finish now. They will look to end strongly against Newcastle who are not playing well at all.

STAR MAN – Christian ERIKSEN

The playmaker of the team, Eriksen needs to step up to the plate for his team and provide goals and assists.
