Gameweek 29 Review – FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 29 saw some terrific fixtures, with Southampton taking Manchester United all the way, a thrilling North London Derby and a goalless Merseyside Derby.

Goalkeeper

Hugo Lloris – Spurs’ keeper made a late penalty save which helped his team pick up a point against Arsenal, giving him a place in this week’s dreamteam with 10 points, rewarding the 5.4% of FPL managers who own him.

Defenders

Declan Rice – The sought after youngster continued his impressive form, as he scored 15 points, the most of any player this gameweek. Rice managed to score the opener in West Ham’s 2-0 victory over Newcastle, picking up 3 bonus points and clean sheet on the way.

Shane Duffy – Brighton secured just their sixth clean sheet of the season against Huddersfield. Duffy picked up 9 points during the gameweek, as he secured the 3 bonus points in the tight fixture.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – The Merseyside Derby ended in a 0-0 draw, with Trent securing maximum bonus points and a clean sheet. A price rise now sees the right back priced at 5.5m, but with no blanks he could be one to pick up in the coming weeks.

Ryan Fredricks – One of many differentials in this FPL dreamteam, sees Fredricks who is owned by just 0.2% of managers, score 8 points with a clean sheet and 2 bonus points. Priced at just 4.5m, he could be one to keep an eye on as the Hammers have a favourable run over the next 3 gameweeks.

Midfielders

Andreas Pereira – In just his second start of the season, Pereira managed to score a goal and assist another in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Southampton. At 4.5m and owned by just 0.3% of fantasy managers, The 23 year old managed to bring home 12 points.

Diogo Jota – Owned by just 3.7% of fantasy managers, Jota sparkled once again with a goal and an assist against Cardiff. Priced at just 6.1, Jota has now scored 6 and assisted 5 in the space of 14 gameweeks.

Jorginho – The Brazilian midfielder scored just his second goal of the season in gameweek 28 against Fulham. Similarly to Pereira, Jorginho is a bargain at just 4.6m and rewarded his owners with a 9 point haul.

Forwards

Raul Jimenez – Jimenez is arguably the bargain of the season, as he started the season at just 5.5m, but is now priced at 6.9m, having scored 145 fantasy points. During gameweek 29 he managed to score 12 points with a goal and assist against Cardiff.

Romelu Lukaku – The inform Belgian scored a brace as Manchester United secured a 3-2 victory against Southampton. Not only had he scored a brace in the fixture beforehand, he also scored a brace midweek as United secured a spot in the last 16 of the Champions League. Owned by just 4.8%of fantasy managers he could be a great differential.

Troy Deeney – The Watford forward continued his impressive form, averaging 9.3 points over the last 3 fixtures. Deeney managed a goal and an assist against Leicester, picking up 11 points in the process.
