Captaincy Analysis – Game-week 4

Game-week 3 has passed, and now we are nearly through the dreaded (boring) international break. Many of us have been looking over our teams, whether to hit the wildcard button, what transfers to make and also who to captain. So here is our article on who to captain in game-week 4.

Firstly, last weeks picks. There were a lot of flops last week, and here is how our choices did:
Pick 1 – Wayne Rooney – 2 points
Pick 2 – Aaron Ramsey – 2 points
The Differential – Romelu Lukaku – 2 points
The Gamble – Sergio Aguero – 2 points

So two points all round. On to the next week, who to captain…

1. Raheem Sterling (AVL)

Liverpool’s winger has a very tasty fixture this week against Aston Villa and although the Villans have been playing well we fancy the England teenager to pick up some points against them. Lets hope he doesn’t let us down like last weeks captaincy picks and continues his hot form.

2. Wayne Rooney (QPR)

So, stick or twist? We are giving Wayne one last chance, and we think that he will deliver against QPR at home. Surely the England captain can’t disappoint us Fantasy Football managers any more, especially with the likes of Di Maria and Falcao alongside him?

Differential – Erik Lamela (SUN)

Tottenham started the season very strong and will want to make up for their blip against Liverpool with a win against Sunderland. Lamela has assisted two goals this season and we fancy him to open his goal scoring account in the next few game-week’s, and he could do this against Sunderland.

Gamble – Diego Costa (SWA)

So is he injured or is he fit? Last week many of you transferred Costa out as he was supposedly injured. To rub it in our faces Mourinho started him, he played 90 minutes and he scored 2 goals! With the yellow flag on his name and a supposed hamstring injury, is he likely to do the same?
