Anyway, here is how our team lines up:

FPL Updates

Goalkeeper

So to kick things off we start with Ben Williams in goal, as he and Bradford City face a Sunderland team who struggled midweek to break down a weak QPR team. Bradford could take advantage of this and look to cause an upset here against Sunderland.

Defenders

In defence we have gone with a back three of; Marcos Rojo, Patrick van Aanholt and Paul Huntington. Sunderland and van Aanholt take a trip to Bradford this week, whilst Rojo and Huntington face each other on the Monday night kick off. Hopefully here we can see a clean sheet or a goal, as PvA is looking threatening of late, whilst Rojo has got a goal in the cup already and will want to build on this!

Midfield

In the middle of the park is where we have spent the majority of our budget. Firstly we start Philippe Coutinho who has been in form of late. He had picked up a knock recently, but hopefully he finds his goal scoring form once again. We also start Angel Di Maria who managed two assists in Manchester United midweek fixture against Burnley! Our penultimate midfielder is Stuart Downing who has to be one of the best performing midfielders over the course of this season, as he has been consistently at the forefront of West Ham’s attack. We finally give a place to Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil, who since coming back from injury has been in relatively good form, hopefully this continues…

Strikers

Finally up top we start with an unlikely top three of; Marouane Chamakh, Olivier Giroud and Enner Valencia. Giroud didn’t start in the midweek fixture, much to the disappointment of many fantasy managers, but we expect a big impact here. Enner Valencia and Marouane Chamakh are a little bit more of a gamble as their goal scoring form has been a bit hit and miss this season, but what better place to turn this around than the FA Cup?
