Game-week 8 Preview

So with the International break nearly over, Premier League football and more importantly Fantasy Football is back this weekend. Here is what we expect to see from game-week 8:

MCITOT

Manchester City vs Tottenham

The blue side of Manchester will look to keep up the chase on Chelsea here, but could be up against it against Spurs who are also showing good form.

STAR MAN – Sergio AGUERO

The Argentine is always involved in most of the goals that City score and we expect to see him in and amongst them again here.

ARSHUL

Arsenal vs Hull City

Both are currently sitting 8th and 11th respectively, and will look to improve upon this. It could end up being a cagey affair, although if arsenal get a goal lead, they could walk away with this.

STAR MAN – Santi CAZORLA

With both Ramsey and Ozil out injured, we expect to see the Spaniard step into the empty boots.

BURWHU

Burnley vs West Ham

This fixture could be a perfect chance for West Ham to climb even further up the table, and will be a tough one for Burnley as they are riddled with injuries.

STAR MAN – Stuart DOWNING

The Englishman has been very impressive and we expect to see this continue.

CRYCHE

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea

If Crystal Palace come away with any points from this fixture, they will have done well. Considering the formidable form Chelsea are displaying, we expect them to extend their lead at the top.

STAR MAN – Cesc FABREGAS

Cesc has been in inspiring form, and is involved in everything positive for the blues.

EVEAVL

Everton vs Aston Villa

Everton have had a tough start to the season and are sitting low in the league, whereas Villa have started very well and are in the middle of a tough run of fixtures. This could be a cagey affair here.

STAR MAN – Romelu LUKAKU

The Belgian international has had a bit of a slow start to the season, but we expect him to find his form soon.

NEWLEI

Newcastle vs Leicester City

With both teams in the lower half of the table, this could be a crucial fixture for both! Alan Pardew is still in charge at Newcastle & Leicester will be looking to regain their good form from the beginning of the season.

STAR MAN – Leonardo ULLOA

The Leicester forward didn’t find the back of the next last week but with 5 goals this season, we expect to see him find it once again.

SOUSUN

Southampton vs Sunderland

This weekend Southampton will look to continue their hot form, whilst Sunderland will be wanting to keep picking up points so they don’t leave it until the last minute like last season.

STAR MAN – Graziano PELLE

After scoring on his international debut with Italy, we expect the striker’s hot form to continue.

QPRLIV

QPR vs Liverpool

Although this game looks like it will be a formality, QPR may turn out to be a tougher opponent than what first meets the eye.

STAR MAN – Jordan HENDERSON

The Englishman has shown some top form since he signed his new contract with the Reds and seems to play a vital part in Liverpool’s play.

STKSWA

Stoke vs Swansea

Both teams have started the season well, although Swansea’s form has dipped. They will look to bring this standard back to what is expected.

STAR MAN – Gylifi SIGURDSSON

This Icelandic playmaker is on a hot run, even performing on an international level too! Need we say more?

WBAMUN

West Brom vs Manchester United

This fixture was the last fixture of Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign at Old Trafford and what a game it was, finishing 5-5! Let’s hope this fixture has some of the makings that fixture did in 2013.

STAR MAN – Angel DI MARIA

The Argentinian has hit the ground running in the Premier League, and van Gaal will be hoping this continues.
