Gameweek 15 – Captaincy Analysis

Welcome to our captaincy analysis for the Gameweek 15. Firstly, Gameweek 14 was a low scoring week for two of our captaincy choices (thanks Rooney!). Of our 4 picks, here is how they did:

1. Sergio Aguero – 16 points

2. Wayne Rooney – 0 points

Gamble – Alexis Sanchez – 9 points

Differential – Glifi Sigurdsson – 3 points

Now though it’s time to move on, put last week behind us and look forward to next week.

1. Diego Costa (NEW)

The big Spaniard has scored 11 goals this campaign, despite a niggling Hamstring injury and is playing in a Chelsea team on top form, which means he will get chances. We are sure Costa will look to find his scoring form again, after missing the midweek game, maing him a great captaincy option this weekend.

2. Sergio Aguero (EVE)

The Argentine is one of the worlds best players on recent form and is the leagues top scorer with 14 goals and crucially 8 goals since the start of November! Any fantasy team without Aguero would’ve struggled in recent weeks. Everton have been disappointing so far this season and we can see Aguero making a mockery of Everton’s defence on Saturday night. He is a must for every fantasy football side.

Differential – Wilfred Bony (WHU)

The Swansea front-man is hitting some good form of late and many fantasy managers have bought him in to replace the misfiring Graziano Pellé who hasn’t scored since mid October. Although he failed to score on Tuesday he still had a great game  and made an assist. West ham’s form has been indifferent of late and I think Swansea could score a few goals on Sunday.

Gamble – Alexis Sanchez (STK)

Sanchez is carrying the gunners right now and that trend shows no sign of slowing. He scored a late winner on Wednesday and as long as he continues to get the support, we are sure he will keep firing. Stoke aren’t playing well of late so I can see an Arsenal win with Sanchez starring once again.
