Gameweek 22 Captaincy Analysis

Gameweek 21 has passed, we hope you’re week went great and you took the gamble with last week’s captaincy analysis picks! Here is how last week’s picks did:

1. Eden Hazard – 2 points

2. Charlie Austin – 8 points

Differential – Radamel Falcao – 0 points

Gamble – Alexis Sanchez – 19 points

Without a break we go onto the next gameweek, with the picks for this week being:

1. Angel Di Maria (QPR)

The Argentine has just come back from injury and playing alongside Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney, we believe it is only a matter of time before he finds the back of the net! This week Manchester United and Di Maria will look to get back on track as they play QPR, who are somewhat defensively weak. With the the United squad fully fit, we expect to see the Reds put a few past QPR.

2. Eden Hazard (SWA)

Last week saw a very rare blank for Eden, but it was just one of those days for him. He can’t score massive points every week, but we expect him to find his feet again as Chelsea face an out-of-form Swansea. They currently can’t seem to keep a clean sheet, and we think they will badly miss Wilfried Bony. Expect Eden to perform this week.

Differential – Stewart Downing (HUL)

Downing loves an assist this year and with Carroll in magnificent form, we think that Downing will be assisting him all game! Downing has created the second highest amount of chances this season, which proves how good he is. He is a massive gamble this week, but having confidence in him could pay off!

Gamble – Alexis Sanchez (MCI)

This week Arsenal face a tough fixture against Manchester City, but last week the summer signing scored a massive 19 points, after he scored two goals and created one too. Alexis is fixture proof, and surely every fantasy manager will want him in their teams! Saturday will be a big test for the Chilean, but we expect he will play a big part in the fixture.
