Gameweek 24 Captaincy Analysis

Last week was a bit of a nightmare as Sanchez, Costa and Sigurdsson were all out, either injured or suspended, which resulted in us revising the captaincy analysis picks! We hope you got some decent replacements for them, but here is how last week’s picks did:

1. Olivier Giroud – 10 points

2. Angel Di Maria – 5 points

Differential – Graziano Pelle – 2 points

Gamble – Eden Hazard – 8 points

Anyway, onwards and upwards. Here’s four players you should look at to captain this week:

1. Sergio Aguero (HUL)

Manchester City play Hull this week at home, so surely Aguero will bang a few in here? He seems fixture proof, however he has struggled to get on the score sheet in the last few weeks. We still think he will score against a defensively poor Hull, and can see him getting a lot of points this week.

2. Eden Hazard (AVL)

Hazard is a top class player and the assist on Saturday proved it. They play Aston Villa this week, who are struggling of late and conceded five last game. If Arsenal could do it without Sanchez, then surely Chelsea can do it! We predict Hazard to do well on Saturday, and bet that he’ll bang in a few!

Gamble – Santi Cazorla (TOT)

Santi has been absolutely fantastic these last few weeks. He scored one and assisted two last week against Aston Villa and he can certainly do it again. He creates so many chances in a single game and he has even been getting on the score sheet of late. It’s a gamble, as they play Spurs, but he can certainly do well against them!

Differential – Daniel Sturridge (EVE)

Sturridge has only just got back from injury, but after scoring in ten minutes and with his low ownership, Sturridge could be a perfect captaincy choice this week. He loves to score against Everton, scoring three goals in the last two against them. Could he add to his scoring tally?
