The last gameweek was the first time this season that some players didn’t have a fixture, with Chelsea, Tottenham, QPR and Leicester City missing out. This gameweek Tottenham and QPR make up for the missed gameweek and have two, so make sure you pick your captain wisely!
Here is how last week’s picks did:
1. Sergio Aguero – 5 points
2. Santi Cazorla – 3 points
3. Jonathan Walters – 3 points
Gamble – Daniel Sturridge – 1 point
Differential – Ander Herrera – 3 point
So onto this weeks picks:
1. Harry Kane (SWA & QPR)
Kane plays two games this week, and there are no doubts in my mind that Kane will start in both of them. He has two chances to score in this week, so surely he will do it! He will be a popular captain choice this week!
2. Sergio Aguero (LEI)
Aguero hasn’t blanked for over a month now, and I can’t see his run ending, as they host Leicester City this week, who last won over two months ago. His is in good form, and surely he can bag one or two against bottom of the league Leicester?!
3. Eden Hazard (WHU)
With 22 points in three gameweeks, I can see Hazard doing really well this week. He and Chelsea have just won the Capital Cup, he is in decent form too, so he may grab a goal or two this week! West Ham are also in a bit of a dip in form at the moment, which is also good reading for those looking to captain the Belgian.
Gamble – Charlie Austin (ARS & TOT)
Big gamble this one, as he isn’t in very good form. However, they do have two fixtures this week, so just like Kane, he does have two chances to score this week. He will be an unpopular captain choice, so if he does well, it’ll shoot you up in the leagues!
Differential – Phillipe Coutinho (BUR)
Coutinho is in fantastic form at the minute, scoring two outstanding goals in two weeks! This week, Liverpool play Burnley, who have conceded the most goals this year, so is there any more coming for Coutinho? He isn’t owned by many managers, so him doing well could see you rise up the ranks!
Hope you all have a decent week!
