Mondogoal Team – Gameweek 24

This week we have entered into the Mondogoal £30,000 Championship qualifier! Hopefully we will qualify this week and will be in the running to win a massive £30,000! To join us click here and create your team!

Anyway, here is how we line up this week:

Mondogoal

Goalkeeper

We start Fraser Forster in goal, as he and Southampton face a QPR team desperate for a win. Hopefully Forster will be able to keep them out and pick us up some points for the team.

Defenders

In defence we start Massadio Haidara who has been picking up some game time as Newcastle have several injuries in defence. They play Stoke City this week, who have been in good form of late, as Walters grabbed a hat-trick last week! Hopefully it doesn’t happen again this week!

Along side him we start Ashley Williams. Swansea are desperate to get back on track, and face a trick Sunderland team this week. Williams will have the job of keeping key boy Jermain Defoe quiet!

Our final defender is John O’Shea who faces Swansea this week. Hopefully this will end 0-0 as we have Ashley Williams in defence too, if not hopefully we can pick up one cleans heet here.

Midfielders

Jason Puncheon is our first midfielder this week, as he and Leicester City this week. Puncheon has been finding his form again of late, and long may this continue whilst he is in our team!

Alongside him we also start Raheem Sterling who has been extremely impressive of late. After scoring last weekend and midweek we are expecting to see more of the same here.

George Boyd is our third midfielder this week, as he and Burnley face West Brom, hopefully he can help the team out with a few points.

Dusan Tadic is our final midfielder, and although he hasn’t got too many points as of late, we expect him to get back his usual self soon, hopefully this week!

Strikers

Our big spend this week is on Sergio Aguero as we face him to do a job against hull City this week. The damage could be huge as they look to close the gap on Chelsea, hopefully he will bring in some good points for the team

With Wilfried Bony now at Manchester City, Bafetimbi Gomis has to step up to the plate and fill the void left by the striker, maybe this will be his week?

Finally up top we start the much spoke about Danny Ings who faces a fixture against Tony Pulis’s West Brom this week. No doubt they will be defensively organised just as Pulis’s teams are, however we expect the Englishman to get on the core sheet here.
