Captaincy Analysis – Gameweek 11 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Another Fantasy Premier League gameweek comes, which means another FPL captaincy analysis! For gameweek 11 we’ve decided to include a special bonus pick, as there are plenty of captaincy tips this weekend, so we hope you enjoy!

1. Jamie Vardy – 5 points

2. Diego Costa – 1 point

3. Alexis Sanchez – 2 points

Differential – Christian Eriksen – 5 points

Gamble – Kevin De Bruyne – 3 points

So now onto this week’s picks:

1. Jamie Vardy (WBA)

Jamie obviously has to be number one based on his form! He’s scored in seven consecutive games, he’s scored 11 goals in 10 games, and he’s miles ahead in the goal scorer leaderboards, his closest rival being Wijnaldum on 6, so he certainly should be on your minds when it comes to captaincy this weekend. Leicester take on West Brom, and although they are good at keeping clean sheets, surely Vardy will keep up his fantastic form and bag one against the Baggies? I know a few people will consider triple captaining Vardy this weekend!

2. Kevin De Bruyne (NOR)

KDB is in decent form, bagging plenty of goals and assists in the last few GW’s. In the Manchester derby, Kevin created a few good chances for City, and was unfortunate not to get a few assists. They take on Norwich this weekend, who managed to concede 6 to Newcastle, so surely De Bruyne will run riot against them this week.

3. Dimitri Payet (WAT)

Payet is in fantastic form at the moment, and has been involved in 8 of West Ham’s last 11 goals, and has only blanked twice in the entire season. He’s created the most chances in the league, and is almost certain not to blank this weekend, when the Hammers take on Watford. Surely his good form will continue this week?

Differential – Christian Benteke (CHE)

Benteke came back from injury, and managed to score against Southampton, and as Sturridge is out for at least a month, I reckon Benteke will bag another this weekend, as Liverpool are due a win with Klopp. Liverpool take on Chelsea, who are in terrible form at the moment and have conceded several goals this season, so surely Benteke can get on the score sheet. He won’t be owned by a lot of people due to his injury so if he does do well, you’ll climb high in the overall rankings. I’d only captain Christian if you need to catch up to your rivals, as there are plenty of safe options to captain this week.

Gamble – Eden Hazard (LIV)

It’s a massive gamble to captain Hazard as he isn’t guaranteed to start against Liverpool, and even if does, he’s in horrific form, scoring one lucky goal all season. Surely, he has to turn his form around, and surely he’s got to if Chelsea fancy taking something against Liverpool! I can’t see many managers captaining him, and I’d only advise captaining him if you’re doing horrific in FPL. If you’re doing good in FPL, I’d certainly look past Hazard for captaincy, and choose a different player.

Bonus Pick – Mesut Ozil (SWA)

We haven’t done a special bonus pick this season, and I’ve only done it to include Özil in the choices. He’s been in fantastic form this year, and looked the biggest threat against Everton last weekend. He created several chances, had many chances himself, and got an assist. He was unlucky to not get on the score sheet, and has been my man of the match for the last three weeks. I’d definitely look at captaining Özil, no matter where you are in the rankings.
