Captaincy Analysis – Gameweek 37 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Welcome to our Fantasy Premier League captaincy analysis for the upcoming gameweek 37. It was confirmed that Leicester City have won the league so a big congratulations to all of their supporters. Now let’s get on with the main subject which is who will you be giving the armband to this week?

Firstly, lets take a look at how last week’s picks did:

1. Alexis Sanchez – 3 points

2. Daniel Sturridge – 2 points

3. Sergio Aguero – 0 points

Differential – Dimitri Payet – 7 points

Gamble – Romelu Lukaku – 1 points

Now onto this week’s picks:

1. Dimitri Payet (SWA & MUN)

The Hammers are finishing the season strongly and Payet is in very good form at the moment. West Ham play twice this week which should make him a more appealing choice. First they host a Swansea side who prior to beating Liverpool looked like the classic example of a side assured of survival and on Tuesday, Manchester United visit Upton Park for what is sure to be an emotional game as next season, West Ham move to the Olympic stadium so they say goodbye to the Boleyn ground. Due to playing twice at home, it is likely Payet will score well which means the Frenchman is probably this week’s stand out option

2. Anthony Martial (NOR & WHU)

The Manchester United striker is another to play twice this week. Despite the return of Wayne Rooney the French forward remains in a forward position and is continuing to score a decent number of goals. United face Norwich who are currently battling for there lives at the wrong end of the table so it is likely to be a hard fought game at Carrow Road. As mentioned previously, United travel to Upton Park. This means United have 2 big games and after City’s slip up last week, Van Gaal’s side will be looking to capitalise. As a striker with some form behind him and 2 games, you should consider the United front man.

3. Andros Townsend (AVL)

Townsend has it in him to turn a game as we saw from his free kick at the weekend and if he is going to hit some form, then there no better time to do it. You all know that Aston Villa aren’t very good at football this season so it’s likely Newcastle will win this game, and Townsend owners will also benefit from low ownership.

Gamble – Romelu Lukaku (LEI & SUN)

The positive for Lukaku is his double gameweek but beyond this the Belgian seems to have little else to shout about. It is true he is out of form & Everton have to take part in Leicester’s coronation before facing Sunderland in a vital game for the Black Cats. Lukaku is likely to play both games and given the competition for places in the Belgium side, he will be up for these games and in the process he could give your points total the final boost it needs.

Differential – Daniel Sturridge (WAT & CHE)

The striker is a proven goal scorer which means if given a start he will get you FPL points. He has 2 games but his ownership is likely to remain low which could really boost your rank.

Thanks for reading & good luck!
