Challenge the Pros – Gameweek 3 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Another week in the ‘Challenge the Pro’s’ series has passed and again the FPL Updates team have ranked in the money! First place this week and second last week means we are in strong form in Daily Fantasy Football on the Premier Punt platform, shame the same can’t be said about our Fantasy Premier League team!

So here is FPL Updates team:

Line-up

In goal we have lined up with Romero, with his team mate Luke Shaw just in front of him so as you can guess, we are banking on a clean sheet against Newcastle in the early kick off. The second clean sheet we are banking on is in the Chelsea vs West Brom fixture, and as you can see we have put in three Chelsea defenders; Cahill, Ivanovic and Azpilicueta. We have left out John Terry, because if he isn’t good enough for Mourinho, he isn’t good enough for our team! 😉

In the middle of the park we have lined up with; Payet, Mahrez, Hoolahan and Zaha. All four have shown some execelent form this season so far, so hopefully this will continue this week and we can win some more money!

Finally up top we have gone with Gomis and the midweek star, Memphis Depay. Depay has also shown enough form to take the captain’s armband, so hopefully he can replicate his midweek European form in the domestic season.

FPL Avids on the other hand has lined up the following team:

Avids

In goal we have Romero. He offers a great cheap alternative to the problematic De Gea. United are yet to concede from an opposition player this season & hopefully in the early kick-off v Newcastle they can continue with this run. That is why I continue to keep faith in them doubling up once again with Darmian.

West Ham play Bournemouth who are yet to score in their time in the Premier League. This stat has inclined us to double up on their backline. However, I’m not going for 16 years old Reece Oxford. He was withdrawn at half time last week and I just can’t let a rotation risk into my team. Tomkins & Cresswell creates the double up situation at the back.

In midfield it is Payet, Navas, Montero & Hoolahan. All, arguably bar Payet, offer great differentials at a reasonable price. Fixtures are all decent too.

Up top for the third week in a row is Depay. Despite not being able to score in the opening 2 games, he scored a sensational double on his Champions League debut and he’ll be looking to carry that form over into the league. Secondly, it is the man everyone wants right now (in FPL & DFF!) Sergio Aguero. Need I say more? Completing my team is Diouf of Stoke City. He bagged himself a goal last week and with an array of attacking midfielders behind him I think he’ll score well!

Note: Both teams are subject to change. May the best FPL Manager win!
