FPL Updates

To kick things off we have gone back to our usual tactic of banking on two clean sheets, and have still doubled up with West Brom and Liverpool defences! Myhill is our man between the sticks for us this week, with his team mate, Olsson also in defence. Our two other defenders are Moreno and Skrtel.

In the middle we have 4 players who do have the potential to score some big points. First off is the ever reliable Riyad Mahrez, need we say more? Coming back from injury, and back in our team is Coutinho. Next up we have Ayew in the middle of the park, as he plays an injury stricken West Ham side. We finally have Wijnaldum, who has shown some glimpses of form this season, and could do the business against Aston Villa this weekend.

Finally, up top we start a front three of Lukaku, Martial and Kane. Hopefully all three keep up their good form and score us some big points…

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

Avids

Despite their form I just can’t ignore Chelsea v Sunderland. I fancy them for a clean sheet at home. Youngster Kurt Zouma looks like he’s cemented his place in the starting XI despite some sub par performances. Azpilicueta‘s better than Rahman while Courtois offers amazing value having just come back from injury.

Manchester United look certain for a clean sheet every match, mainly due to the fact they sit back and counter, so in comes McNair. At home to Norwich I fancy a clean sheet while Depay and Mata will score well.

Newcastle have 2 wins on the trot, what is this madness? At home to Aston Villa, is there a better chance to capitalise on cheap players? Wijnaldum and Mitrovic earn a place.

Completing my team are the 3 in-form gods of the league. Magically, Messi-like Mahrez, Super ‘Arry Kane and fish-eyed Ozil.

Wijnaldum captain cause why not?

Note: Both teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
