So, without further ado, here is the FPL Updates team:

Updates

To kick things off we have banked on Arsenal and Manchester United clean sheets this week. Cech is our man between the sticks for us this week, with his team mate, the BFG, Per Mertesacker also in defence. Our two United players are Darmian and McNair, who we may have to keep an eye on in the press conferences!

In the middle of the park we have gone with a mix of the popular players and the odd differential. Bolasie starts off a middle four, with a game against Everton, which could be a tough away MNF trip. Against Bolasie, we also have Ross Barkley who seems to be picking up fantasy football points left right and center, and long may this continue! Milner and De Bruyne are our final two midfielders, with games against Newcastle and Stoke.

Finally, up top we start a front three of Giroud, Ighalo and Lukaku. Hopefully all three can keep their fine goal scoring form this weekend…

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

Avids

In defence I’ve gone for 4 at the back this week due to appealing fixtures. Triple Southampton defence against Villa; Stekelenburg, Cedric & Bertrand (let’s hope they don’t concede 6 again!). Zouma at home to Bournemouth and Gabriel at home to Sunderland.

Sticking with my FPL transfer I’ve stuck in Hazard. He might be expensive with his lack of form, but in recent weeks he’s shown small glimpses of explosiveness. He was unlucky not to score against Spurs at the weekend and I think he’s likely to convert v Bournemouth on Saturday evening. Ozil joins my line up as he faces Sunderland at home and he will be Arsenal’s main man with Sanchez out.

Leicester are still performing well so Mahrez and Vardy are remaining in my squad. The last 2 players in my squad are against each other; Ighalo v Redmond. One’s in great form and the other one offers high potential.

Note: Both teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
