SHITHOUSE XI – Gameweek 13 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

When you’re riding this high in Fantasy Premier League, it is difficult to maintain constant week by week red arrows. Somehow I have managed this again, this time with an FPL global rank of 3,347,232 and a drop of a further 12k. Injuries are coming into play now therefore I need to make some positive changes in gameweek 13, so that I don’t end up with a squad of non-playing no hopers. With Danny Graham seemingly even more out of touch with the Sunderland first team and Agbonlahor finding it difficult to return from injury, focus needs to be aligned to the attack element of my squad. Let’s look at how each player faired in gameweek 12.

SHITHOUSE

Goalkeeper

Ruddy – Bloody Ruddy came in to concede goals and he picked up a rare clean sheet against a Swansea team losing form. 6 points but don’t expect him to recreate that anytime soon!

Defence

Huth – Leicester usually win games by outscoring the opposition and this was certainly the case as their leaky rear guard allowed Watford to destroy any clean sheet they were protecting. 2 points.

Bassong – Like his buddy, Bassong also picked up a clean sheet which wasn’t in the tactical plan I issued to them, and he went one better and picked up a bonus point too giving him 7 in total!

Hutton – I knew City were less potent on the road but, like many managers, wasn’t expecting a blank. Detrimental effects were the cause as Hutton was the 3rd defender to keep a clean sheet! 6 points!

Total Defensive Points – 21!

Midfield

King – This is what I’m talking about, playing 60 seconds of FPL football provided me with 1 lonely point! That is a risky game to play however and his game time is of concern.

Coquelin – I had this North London derby as a yellow card banker for the Arsenal General however he acted in good faith and escaped without caution. 2 points, standard.

Sánchez – I made Carlos the captain this week not expecting a clean sheet bonus for him which meant this was regarded as a captain fail picking up more points than my captain in my normal team. Epic epic fail.

Cattermole – Lee didn’t recover from his injury picked up the week before and as I had no other non-playing subs he wasn’t auto substituted.

Strikers

Rooney – I can rely on Shrek to do effectively nothing in most games now, as England’s ‘best’ striker picks up just 2 points.

Graham & Agbonlahor – Like Cattermole, Danny and Gabby did not feature in their respective games and as I had no other non-playing subs they weren’t auto substituted either! I need to address this as don’t want to be accused of cheating to the bottom!

For gameweek 13 I will be bringing in 1 Leicester player who hasn’t failed to play this season and also removing one that has, giving me a better chance of fielding 11 players.
