To kick things off we have gone back to our usual tactic of banking on two clean sheets, and we have still chosen to double up with Chelsea and Manchester United defences! Courtois is our man between the sticks for us this week, with his team mate, Azpilicueta, also in defence. Our two other defenders are Jones and Darmian.

In the middle we have 4 players who do have the potential to score some big points. First off is the current man in form, Dele Alli, need we say more? Next up we have Payet in the middle of the park, as he looked really good in his brief substitute appearance, his first appearance since coming back from injury, and he could score big against Bournemouth. Our penultimate midfielder is Shaqiri, who has shown some brilliant form in parts of this season. Finally we have the big Kevin De Bruyne who faces off against a leaky Everton defence.

Finally, up top we start a front three of Costa, Kane and Martial. Hopefully all three keep up their recent good form and score us some big points…

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

In defence I’m relying on 2 teams keeping clean sheets; Palace and Stoke. Triple Palace defence consists of Hennessey, Ward and Souare, who are away to rock-bottom Villa. Palace had kept back to back clean sheets before playing a resurging Chelsea. Double Stoke defence against Norwich at home shouldn’t be a bad bet for another clean sheet. The Potters have an excellent home record while Wollscheid and Shawcross is on the field which fills me with confidence.

In midfield I’ve continued the Stoke theme with Shaqiri. He’s staying to fulfil his promise after his 12 million move from Inter in the Summer. His double against Everton showed the class he has and against Norwich I can see him being involved in the goals.

Chelsea may be having a poor season but Willian has been a shining light. Kevin De Bruyne has a great home record and although they’ve just been beaten against Everton midweek in the Cup, KDB went close on a couple of occasions. Siggy is my differential this week. He finds himself at home to Sunderland, who haven’t been playing badly. I can see it being a 2-1 Swansea win.

Up top I’ve gone for the expensive boys this week, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero. Hopefully class prevails.

Note: Both teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
