Gameweek 21 seems miles away, but for the FPL Updates XI, it was a frustrating one as both of our transfers (Clichy and Kane out) backfired massively! But hey, you win some, you lose some! Here’s how the team looked:
So a below average score last week, but we aren’t going to dwell on it too much as we are still sitting pretty at 12,951.
Rob Green managed to bring home 3 points after he made 4 saves, but couldn’t quite hold onto the clean sheet. In front of him we saw Hutton bag a clean sheet, but Taylor and Dummett only scored a point between them after a nightmare own goal and no clean sheets between them.
In the middle of the park, the only performer was Eden Hazard who grabbed a goal for Chelsea. Other than that, our captain Silva blanked, whilst Sanchez and Sigurdsson did nothing either.
Finally up top, Costa grabbed us a goal, with Austin and Rooney not being able to find the back of the net.
This week we havent made any changes and don’t feel the need just yet to jump on the Harry Kane bandwagon. Here is how we line-up:
So this week we start Rob Green in goal who has a game away at Burnley. In front of him, we have Taylor, Wisdom and Hutton who have games against West Ham, Hull and Leicester. We are hoping for at least a couple of clean sheets between these 4 players but we could quite easily land 4.
In midfield, we have Silva, Sanchez, Sigurdsson and Hazard. All of these teams have games in which they should win. City are playing an out of sorts Everton side whilst Chelsea will seek revenge against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.
Up top, we have Austin, Rooney and Costa who all feature in games where they can definitely bag a goal. Charlie Austin is away from home but we are hoping he can produce against Burnley.
The captain’s armband has been handed to Eden Hazard due to his proven home record this season. He is really showing his quality of late and has the goals and assists to go with it.
