Gameweek 12 – Captaincy Analysis

Welcome to gameweek 12 – captaincy analysis and firstly welcome back to Fantasy football! Gameweek 11 seems a long time ago, but here is how the picks did:

Pick 1 – Sergio Aguero – 13 points
Pick 2 – Angel Di Maria – 6 points
The Differential – Graziano Pelle – 5 points
The Gamble – Alexis Sanchez – 9 points

So as you can see it was a cracking turn out with the lads last week and if you followed our advice you would have got into double figures with any of our captaincy choices!

1. Sergio Aguero (SWA)

Sergio is in fantastic form at the moment and he is firing in the goals, scoring 12 goals in just 791 minutes! He is currently one of the most prolific strikers in the world, and he doesn’t look like he will stop scoring any time soon! Man City are at home this week and Aguero’s record is phenomenal at the Etihad. If he plays the whole 90 minutes on Saturday, he will surely bag a goal or two!

2. Diego Costa (WBA)

Diego is also in fantastic form, and is also finding the back of the net with ease! He currently has one of the best conversion rates, being 15% higher than Aguero (47%). Diego Costa has a brilliant record at home and Chelsea are playing West Brom this week who have conceded 8 goals in 5 games. Also, if Fabregás is fit, Costa will be more likely to find the back of the net on Saturday!

Gamble – Graziano Pelle (AVL)

Unlike Aguero and Costa, Pelle regularly gets assists as well as goals. He currently has 6 goals and 4 assists and is also in hot form. Southampton play Aston Villa this week, who have conceded 15 goals in 6 games! Surely Pelle will get on the scoresheet, or even bag an assist. He’s our gamble pick this week with the fixture not coming until Monday night. Can you bite the bullet and hold out until then if you’ve captained him?

Differential – Alexis Sanchez (MUN)

Sanchez is in FANTASTIC form! He’s got 55 FPL points in 4 games and he is firing the goals in! Arsenal play a defensively weak Man United, who have 3 fully fit defenders available. They are likely to field some of their youth players in defence on Saturday, which reads well for Sanchez owners! David De Gea is also a risk for United due to injury, and they’ve also lost Daley Blind. Will Sanchez run riot against the Red Devils? Only time will tell…
