Gameweek 11 – Captaincy Analysis

Game-week 10 has been and gone, with some people hitting over 100 points meaning it was another high scoring game-week! The captaincy selection is always crucial and although we didn’t tip Calum Chambers, we did tip Alexis Sanchez, so here is how they did:

Pick 1 – Alexis Sanchez – 16 points
Pick 2 – Diego Costa – 2 points
The Differential – Saido Berahino – 2 points
The Gamble – Sergio Aguero – 8 points

1. Sergio Aguero (QPR)

The Argentine just can’t stop scoring, with 10 goals now in the opening 10 games of the season! With a visit to London, Aguero will be looking to increase his goal tally when they face QPR. QPR’s goal record isn’t that great either, having conceded 20 goals over the first 10 game-weeks, which gives good reading for those looking to captain Aguero.

2. Angel Di Maria (CRY)

With United sitting 10th in the league, van Gaal and his men surely wont let this opportunity slip and should be looking at nothing less than 3 points here. Although Manchester United’s defence is looking vulnerable, their attack is less than that, with Rooney, van Persie and Di Maria pulling the strings. Di Maria has had a lightning start to life in the Premier League, with 3 goals and 4 assists already!

Differentials – Graziano Pelle (LEI)

Southampton are sitting tidy in second, and a majority of this is down to their new signings, one of them being Graziano Pelle! Pelle has already found the back of the net 6 times in the league and set up his team mates on 3 other occasions! With a game against Leicester City this week, Southampton and Pelle will look to pick up another win, and hopefully some more goals for the Saints Italian striker!

Gamble – Alexis Sanchez (SWA)

This week Arsenal make the trip to Swansea, which could turn out to be a tough fixture for the Gunners. Swansea have already defeated Manchester United, and look to push up the table with a win here. Saying that, Alexis is in some hot form and will look to show his class once again this game=week, possibly popping up with a few more goals perhaps? Only time will tell!
