Gameweek 13 – FPL Updates XI

Gameweek 12 saw FPL Updates XI score 9 points above average to keep up the good form so hopefully this will continue into Gameweek 13! With this good score, the team moved up to rank 53,893, and this is how the team looked:

So Big Tim did the team proud once again bringing in a massive 9 points for the team! In front of him, our three defenders brought in 10 points between them, which isn’t a bad return from the defence… it could have been worse considering only 4 teams managed a clean sheet!

Our midfield did ok this week after they scored 18 points between them: Sanchez (2), Di Maria (5), Fabregas (9) and Sigurdsson (2). Hopefully these lads can continue the good form into the upcoming weeks!

Finally up top, our captain Diego Costa brought in 12 points which was crucial in the team’s success, whilst Pelle and Welbeck just brought in 2 points each.

So onto Gameweek 13 we go and this week’s changes are:

Pelle (OUT) -> Rooney (IN)

Welbeck (OUT) -> Kane (IN)

With Pelle having a tough run of fixtures and Welbeck not really firing, we have brought in the two in-form strikers – Rooney and Kane. This is how the team lines up:

So this week we start Rob Green in goal who is at home to Leicester City this week. Hopefully he can keep a clean sheet as out other Keeper (Krul) is injured.  Just in front of him we start; Taylor, Jagielka and Moore. All have reasonable fixtures, however one thing to keep an eye on is Liam Moore who didn’t play last week, but if he doesn’t again this week we have Clyne ready to come on in place of him!

In the middle of the park we start; Di Maria, Sanchez, Sigurdsson and Fabregas. This week all 4 have really good fixtures against teams which they should score some good points.

Finally, up top we have started both Kane and Rooney as they come into the team this week. We also start the ever reliable Diego Costa. We have also given the armband to Rooney, who should pick up some points as Manchester United play Hull City at home.
