Gameweek 37 Captaincy Analysis

Gameweek 37 sees Arsenal and Sunderland compete in a double gameweek right at the end of the season. However, before we take a look at this week’s captaincy analysis picks, as always we take a quick look back at last week’s picks which saw highs and lows…

1. Sergio Aguero – 23 points

2. Harry Kane – 2 points

3. Alexis Sanchez – 2 points

Differential – Christian Benteke – 2 points

Gamble – Eden Hazard – 2 points

1. Alexis Sanchez (MUN & SUN)

With a DGW this week, Sanchez looks likely to be the most popular captaincy choice as he has two chances to score this week! Although he blanked last week, he is in very good form with 36 points in 5 weeks!

2. Sergio Aguero (SWA)

Need I say much more about Aguero? With a whopping 23 points last week, scoring 3 and assisting 2, Aguero is in absolutely fantastic form! You’d be a fool not to captain him if you don’t own Sanchez!

3. Olivier Giroud (MUN & SUN)

Although in poor form, Giroud does have two chances to score this week. I think he’ll finally break his mini drought this week, and I predict him to do well! He won’t be a popular captaincy choice, but if he does do well, he’ll work wonders for your FPL rankings!

Differential – Jermain Defoe (LEI & ARS)

The Sunderland striker bagged a goal against Everton this week, and with 13 points in his last two games, the Sunderland striker is starting to get back into form, and he does have a DGW this week. Massive differential, but with two chances to score, he could get himself on the scoresheet!

Gamble – Harry Kane (HUL)

It is a gamble for a reason; Hull are fighting for relegation, so should go out all guns blazing this week, and also Spurs are in terrible form at the moment, but Kane can score one out of nothing. Hull’s defence is weak, so he could get one this week.
