Captaincy Analysis – Gameweek 19 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Before we know it we are looking at another gameweek of football, which only means another FPL captaincy analysis! Before we look at gameweek 19’s tips, here is how last weeks fantasy premier league captain picks did:

1. Romelu Lukaku – 2 points

2. Riyad Mahrez – 2 points

3. Odion Ighalo – 6 points

Differential -Oscar – 0 points

Gamble – Sergio Aguero – 0 points

So, not the best outcomes as a lot of the favourite picks blanked, but this is what was somewhat expected over the Christmas period! Lets hope for better this gameweek:

1. Harry Kane (WAT)

Aren’t many other choices that I could have gone for! He’s been fantastic in 2015 and surely he will want to end the year on a high. They take on Watford this week, which is a hard ground to go to, however Kane has managed to score no matter who he is playing! He’ll still find it tough to find a way to break their defence, but it is definitely worth considering Harry for the midweek game.

2. Odion Ighalo (TOT)

He’s scored in five consecutive top flight games, something no Watford player had ever done and Ighalo will be wanting to make that 6 on Tuesday. We can’t see him being rested, as there aren’t any other good strikers at Watford (other than Deeney) and plus Odion will be wanting to continue his good form. Goals a plenty in this match, and I can see both Ighalo and Kane bagging at least one each!

3. Romelu Lukaku (STK)

It was just one of those games yesterday, in which Lukaku just simply couldn’t get on the scoresheet. He bullied that back four all game and really did deserve a goal. However it didn’t come and he has to bounce back from these games. Stoke are Everton’s opponents tomorrow, who have been fantastic at the back this season, but can Lukaku bully Shawcross like he did to Colocinni?

Differential – Christian Benteke (SUN)

It’s pretty obvious to see that Benteke isn’t liked by Klopp. Origi has been preferred to him the last couple of weeks, however surely the goal against Leicester will be enough to start Christian tomorrow. He is currently owned by 11%, but a lot of those will be ghost ship teams, therefore I’d recommend captaining Benteke, especially if you need to climb the rankings!

Gamble – Shane Long (WHU)

His performance against the Gooners yesterday was fantastic. He ripped the Arsenal CB pairing apart with his pace and he was unlucky not to get a hat trick, as he had a goal wrongly disallowed! With pelle out injured tomorrow, long will start again and with his confidence high, he’ll be wanting to get on the scoresheet again.
