Captaincy Analysis – Gameweek 35 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Gameweek 35 see’s a cut down gameweek, as a few teams blank. However our captaincy analysis will look to find the best captaincy options for the coming gameweek. First, lets take a look at how last week’s picks did:

1. Alexis Sanchez – 25 points

2. Dimitri Payet – 8 points

3. Sergio Aguero – 26 points

Differential – Anthony Martial – 3 points

Gamble – Romelu Lukaku – 2 points

Now lets take a look at this week’s picks:

1. Alexis Sanchez (SUN)

There aren’t many games this week due to several teams blanking because of the FA Cup, so Alexis is the perfect captaincy choice for this week. Sunderland in his current form? You can’t deny that that is tasty! Nailed on to start against them, so I’d definitely go for Sanchez! The only hesitation you could have is that Sunderland are scrapping for their Premier League lives…

2. Harry Kane (WBA)

If you haven’t got Sanchez, then Kane is the second best choice for this week. He’ll be going for the golden boot, so he’ll be trying to get even more goals this week. They play West Brom who aren’t in the best of form, and with Spurs pushing for the league title, I expect them to run riot this week! He’s in fantastic form, so I’d highly recommend transferring in and captaining either Kane or Sanchez this week.

3. Sergio Aguero (STK)

He completely blew away Chelsea with a stunning hat-trick, but against Newcastle he wasn’t at his best. He got lucky to get the goal he did as he was offside but with City playing Stoke this week, who conceded 4 last week, he’ll be looking to get on the scoresheet. Don’t do what I did, and not get him in! He’ll excel you up the rankings if he does well against them, so he’s definitely one to look out for.

Differential – Graziano Pelle (AVL)

Not the greatest performance in his last game, with him being subbed off early against Everton, but he does have 4 goals in his last 5 games and when a player is playing Aston Villa, then you certainly have to fancy their chances of doing well. He’s surely got to add to that tally with a goal against the worst team in the league. He’s owned by 3%, so I’d definitely consider going for him if you’re feeling lucky!

Gamble – Riyad Mahrez (SWA)

With Vardy out for this game, it might see Mahrez playing a bit higher up the pitch. This could mean that he could score a few against the Swans, but on the flip side it could mean that he’ll struggle to deliver the goods with his partner out. Could go either way, which is why he’s the gamble for this week! But as Del Boy used to say, “he who dares, wins!”
