Captaincy Analysis – Gameweek 5 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Unfortunately this week saw the dreaded international break hit us, but thankfully, it’s over and we have FPL back on the weekends (for now anyway!). Lets get into the fantasy premier league captaincy choices for this weekend, but first let’s review our results from last week’s picks.

1. Segio Aguero – 2 points

2. Diego Costa – 2 points

3. Riyad Mahrez – 1 point

Differential – Xherdan Shaqiri – 2 points

Gamble – Christian Benteke – 2 points

A bit of a shocker, but this season continues to be unpredictable! Now this week’s picks:

1. Andre Ayew (WAT)

Ayew is in fantastic form at the moment and had a blinder of a game against Man United! He single handedly tore them apart and created a majestic assist for Gomis to win the game! To cut through the United defence (who hadn’t conceded all season) was brilliant and this is why I think he will be a good captaincy choice this weekend! Swansea play Watford this week and they will have to break down another strong defence. Ayew should come out on top against Watford.

2. Olivier Giroud (STK)

Here we are stuck between two players; Ozil or Giroud, but we decided with the Frenchman as, although he isn’t in good form, he could explode any minute. He is starting ahead of Walcott now, and he has got a good record at home! They play Stoke, who have been relatively poor this season, and haven’t kept a clean sheet so far, so can he score this weekend?

3. Sergio Aguero (CRY)

Aguero hasn’t started off the season well by his standards, and has failed to score in his last two games. However they take on Crystal Palace who are quite poor defensively, keeping only three clean sheets in the whole of 2015, so surely he has to score on Saturday?

Differential – Bakary Sako (MCI)

Sako has started off his season with Crystal Palace fantastically and was the key reason why they beat Chelsea two weeks ago! He is owned by less than 5%, so a good week for him will see you climb up the rankings. However, they do play Man City, who haven’t conceded a single goal so far. Can Bakary end Man City’s brilliant run?

Gamble – Harry Kane (SUN)

Kane has been woeful in front of goal this season, and is yet to score or assist a single Spurs goal! I think he is due to score this week, coming really close against Everton a couple of times. He scored a delightful finish on Saturday, but can he score those in the Premier League!?

Thanks for reading! Hope you have a good fantasy football week!
