So gameweek 7 is nearly upon us and we have once again teamed up with Premier Punt and this week we are creating a free league in which there is £50 up for grabs! So, if you think you can beat us, why not come and challenge us?

So here is FPL Updates team:
This week we have gone with Courtois’ replacement between the sticks, Begovic. Just in front of him we have his team mate Azpilicueta, so we will be hoping the two of them can keep us clean sheets as they play Newcastle this weekend. Alongside Azpilicueta we have two Manchester United defenders; Smalling and Darmian. This week United host an out of form Sunderland team, so there may also be the chance of getting on the scoresheet this weekend!
This week we have gone with 4 in the middle of the park, being; Fabregas, Payet, De Bruyne and Shaqiri. All four could be seen as differentials as there are other popular choices in their club line-ups or in that particular position. Hopefully this will pay off for us!
Up top we have gone with a bit of a differential front three. Many will go with Martial this weekend as Manchester United play Sunderland, however we are going with Rooney and have even trusted him with the armband! Partnering him up top we have Ings and Callum Wilson. Two cheap strikers who look to prove their Premier League potential!
Now onto FPLAvids’ team:
So, finally I cashed in last week!
This week I’m looking to continue the trend. I’m going for double Chelsea defence (Begovic & Azpilicueta). I believe the Blues are getting back to their best and against a Newcastle side who are in what can only be called a crisis, I can only see one result. Jenkinson finds a way in to my team as he is up against Norwich. Norwich have been free scoring but I think high-flying West Ham can hault their progress. Completing my backline is Darmain who faces Sunderland.
In midfield I’ve got Kevin De Bruyne who is underpriced in Premier Punt so I thought I’d take advantage. Next is Payet. The Frenchman is taking the Premier League by storm and against Norwich who are yet to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League, his run is likely to continue. I’m also keeping faith in Shaqiri who faces Bournemouth, a team who are also struggling to keep clean sheets. Completing my midfield is a bit of a punt. Sadio Mane is a pricey option but I’ve just got a feeling he’ll do well this week.
Up top I’ve gone for 3 big players: Martial, Pedro and Aguero. Martial has been chosen due to the fact he’s on an incredible goal scoring run and faces the worst defence in the league. Pedro because as previously discussed, Newcastle are seriously struggling. Aguero is the final pick due to the fact Spurs/City games are always high scoring and Aguero has 10 goals in 7 games against Spurs.
