Welcome to this week’s edition of Things’ Top Trump. Last week’s Top Trump of Callum Wilson seemingly paid off, returning a decent 7 FPL points. This week, I’ve gone for somebody who has seen a massive 430,000 fantasy premier league managers transfer him in just this week, and that incredible number is due to rise over the remainder of this week. That somebody is Anthony Martial.
The French teenager has started his United career remarkably with 5 shots and 4 goals, showing incredible composure in all 4. He was benched midweek in the Capital One Cup, which could send out the idea that the Frenchman will start vs Sunderland at the weekend. He increased the likelihood of starting this weekend by coming off the bench to score, again.
This week United welcome the struggling Black Cats to Old Trafford. The worst defence in the Premier League comes face to face with a United side that has seemingly found their mojo this season but more importantly that dodgy defence faces a man in blistering form, Anthony Martial. Quite honestly I can see a 4-0 win for LVG’s men, or something along those lines and Martial will be in the middle of things, wanting to improve on that incredible record of 4 goals from 5 shots.
