Another bad week, but I suppose at least I’m doing well in FPL.

So we start of off with Gomes of Watford in goal. They have little to play for but they come up against Aston Villa, who apart from against Southampton, don’t score often. Holebas gets in for the same reason. We then go with fixtures and players I feel are nailed on, as I don’t want a repeat of last week when players don’t play. With Sakho suspended for the foreseeable future because of his failed drugs test, Lovren seems like a pretty concrete choice coming up against Swansea and Hector Bellerin is Arsenal’s undisputed right back and they come up against low scoring and low chance creating Norwich.

The midfield feels stacked but is relatively cheap. Ozil is the expensive midfielder. I remember the days when he wouldn’t stop getting Fantasy Football Points. Then McCarthy because I feel like not having an Everton player coming up against Bournemouth is foolish. And finally, the romantic in me is envisioning an epic end to West Ham’s final season at the Boleyn, with Payet and Lanzini finishing my midfield as they face West Brom.

And the front three are the usual suspects minus Aguero. Sturridge is Liverpool’s main available striker, and when he plays he usually scores. It’s a risk but hopefully it pays off. Harry Kane has a tendancy to score in the derby games so he’s brought in. Finally, Sanchez is in as my third striker finishing my Arsenal trio and taking the captain’s armband.

Best of luck to everyone, and I hope I take your money.

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

Right, I’m gambling big time on Villa being their sub-standard self. I’m hoping Watford will be looking to bounce back after being knocked out of the FA Cup in the semi finals but they might be on the beach already so it’s a gamble on my part. So in come a back three of; Ake, Cathcart and Nyom.

Similar to Watford I’m hoping that Everton will also bounce back from the cup departure. Roberto Martinez is under serious pressure to keep his job so he has no reason to take this game lightly. Bournemouth are shipping goals now so I reckon Everton could win 2-0. Robles, Barkley & Lukaku (or Blankaku) earn a spot in my team.

Hazard looked incredible last weekend and said he doesn’t want Tottenham to win the league so I think he’ll be up for the game!

Newcastle have Crystal Palace and Villa in their next 2 matches and HAVE to win them both to stay up in my opinion. Wijnaldum has looked lively off the bench recently so I think he’ll be granted with a start. In case Newcastle aren’t up for the match I’ve got Bolasie in my team too.

Alexis Sanchez is in his best run for Arsenal and at home to Norwich I can only see it continuing and therefore he gets my armband this weekend. Andy Carroll is trying his best to edge his way into Roy’s England plans so up against the physical presence of West Brom’s defence he’ll be looking to prove himself.

Note: Teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
