Differentials XI – Gameweek 19 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

As predicted, and keeping with the cycle, the differentials notched up a green arrow in gameweek 18, scoring 64 FPL points, which is a very good thing when you consider that a lot of managers were stuck around the average points. It was also a 2nd successive transfer that bore fruit immediately as Delaney kept a CS away to Bournemouth, hopefully we can do the same in gameweek 19.

Differentials

A successful transfer is really crucial as most of the template players are doing very well. With Diego Costa picking up a 5th yellow card and Bolasie ruled out due to injury, I have decided to bring in…wait for it…Ayew. No, not Andre. It’s Jordan!

He has 3 goals in his last 5, has scored in the last 2, and his next 2 fixtures are Norwich and Sunderland. Having watched the Aston Villa vs. West Ham game on Boxing Day, I was really impressed with the Villans, utterly dominating the Hammers in the 2nd half. His ownership percentage is as low as 0.5% too! So it’s Diego Costa out and Jordan Ayew in for gameweek 19.

With Newcastle’s away form being poor and their fixture against a defensive West Brom, Ayoze is dropped to the bench for Van Dijk, as we revert to a traditional 4-4-2. Lovren, Bolasie and Gomes will complete our bench as we brace ourselves for rotation in gameweek 19.

Differentials

Starting XI: Lloris (6.7%), van Dijk (2.9%), Dawson (5.1%), Delaney (2.1%), Coleman (9.0%), Firmino (1.3%), Ramsey (5.2%), Deulofeu (3.6%), Silva (6.3%), Deeney (3.9%), Ayew (0.5%)

Bench: Gomes (7.8%), Ayoze (1.1%), Bolasie (5.6%), Lovren (0.9%)

Our GW18 captain, Silva, returned 1 assist but would have got more had Bony scored his penalty. This week Manchester City play league leaders Leicester City and will want to bring their title push back on track. Aguero didn’t feature as City cruised past Sunderland, which means he may well take to the field in this game. Our armband will stay on David Silva this week as well!

How did your FPL team perform on Boxing Day and did you manage to progress in the FPL Cup? Tweet to us and let us know how much you hope to score in gameweek 19!
