To kick things off we have banked on Southampton and Swansea clean sheets this week. Stekelenburg is between the sticks for us again, with Bertrand also in defence. His two Swansea partners are Taylor and Naughton, who have both shown that they have the potential to score some fantasy football points!

In the middle of the park we have gone with one usual suspect and 3 differentials. The usual suspect is arguably the player of the season, Riyad  Mahrez. Alongside him we have three differentials in the form of Bolaise, Shaqiri and Wijnaldum. Hopefully these lads will have low ownerships this week, but prove us right in selection by picking up some points!

Finally, up top we start a front three of Vardy, Pelle and Bony. Hopefully Vardy can keep his fine goal scoring form going whilst the other two lads face Sunderland and Aston Villa respectively…

Now onto FPL Avids and his team:

I’ve gone for a 4-4-2 this week and I’m banking on a lot of clean sheets.

Struggling Villa face City at home. After beating Sevilla midweek I think the Blues will comfortably win, keeping a clean sheet in the process. Therefore I’ve gone for Sagna & Otamendi for defensive duties and De Bruyne for his attacking prowess.

High flying Saints face Sunderland away. Similar to City, it looks like an easy win on paper. Bertrand and Stekelenburg make their way onto my team while Tadic offers a differential role further up my line-up.

Completing my defence is Jones of United. I really rate Tony Pulis as a manager and can see him going to Old Trafford and parking the bus. 0-0 on the cards in this game!

Leicester v Watford will be a great game. Hard to predict the winner though. Leicester love scoring but Watford have only conceded 10 all season, 6 of those away from home. However, I reckon this game will open up and be end to end. Mahrez, Vardy and Ighalo offer great value this week.

Completing my team is the Scotsman Ritchie. Being Scottish myself I’m a bit biased in this one but at home to unpredictable Newcastle, Ritchie might just hit one of his bangers!

Note: Both teams are subject to change. May the best FPL manager win!
