Differentials XI – Gameweek 17 FPL Tips – Fantasy Premier League Tips

Wow, wow, wow. The midweek performance from the lads was incredible. 94 points! Here’s how the Differentials XI looked:

That tally saw the squad jump a million places to a millionth in the world with is fantastic given the fact no big hitters are present in the side. An Eriksen brace and assist saw the Danish captain score a ridiculous 38 points alone – a good way to say farewell to him as understandably his ownership has surged above the 10% threshold. I tipped Rondon to have a good week, but a hat-trick of headers exceeded expectations. The back 4 contributed 30 points between them in an all round excellent display. The only downside is that it will be hard to replicate that and the arrows may just be red from now on.

Here’s how we line up this coming week:

Starting XI: Forster (5.3%), Luiz (3.0%), Rose (5.8%), Coleman (4.4%), Antonio (8.4%), Sigurdsson (10.0%), Pedro (4.5%), Snodgrass (5.2%), Wilson (3.4%), Benteke (10.0%), Rondon (6.6%)

Bench: Stekelenburg (3.9%), Dawson (1.5%), Pereyra (0.5%), Shawcross (1.8%)

Forster keeps his place and on the back of 4 clean sheets in 5, I’m hopeful for another from him. 8 clean sheets in ten games for David Luiz is remarkable and if Chelsea continue to perform well, you can’t see them conceding any time soon. The Blues are on a run of 10 wins on the trot and are looking to break Arsenal’s Premier League record of 14. A solid defence with an in-form Courtois behind them, the Chelsea defence should be as tight as ever. As expected Danny Rose kept a clean sheet against Hull but the assist was a welcome surprise. At home to Burnley, the potential for another clean sheet is on the cards. Coleman again didn’t manage to keep a clean sheet but Arsenal’s goal was lucky so I’m not too concerned. Coleman also demonstrated his attacking potential that we’ve seen in the past from him. In a Merseyside derby, anything is possible from another goal to a sending off so anything I get from Coleman this week is a bonus.

Antonio is Eriksen’s replacement and at home to the same opposition at the weekend that the Dane had midweek, we can only pray for a similar result. Sigurdsson is facing a potential ‘relegation 6 pointer’ against Middlesbrough so he better bring his A game. Pedro is slowly being faded out of the Chelsea starting line up with Willian now publicly saying he’s ready to start. The Spaniard must deliver to stand a chance of maintaining his position. Snodgrass is playing West Ham which is another scrappy game in the bottom half of the league so anything could happen. Randolph did make an error recently, giving Liverpool a goal, so Snodgrass’ free kicks might have the same result.

Callum Wilson has been frustrating of late and only played 25 minutes of the game midweek, picking up a head injury. Hopefully he’ll be fit for the weekend. Benteke has managed to sneak in for another week and the game against Chelsea might suit him. We saw Luiz be a bit flimsy against Rondon, and Christian poses a similar threat. Hat-trick hero Rondon will be looking to test Phil Jones and Rojo to the limit; his confidence will be sky high.
