FPL Gameweek 10 Preview – Fantasy Premier League Tips

After a rather unpredictable gameweek 9 here we are again looking at the prospects and analysing who will be the players to look out for in the upcoming gameweek which will (hopefully) bring loads of goals and action.

So sit back and enjoy the FPL gameweek 10 preview!

Sunderland vs Arsenal

Sunderland are struggling to get any sort of flow going in their game and were beaten by West Ham in the cruelest of ways with a last minute goal. On the other hand the Gunners somewhat lacked the quality in the final third against Boro and will be looking to win and win big to increase their goal difference and strengthen their position in the top 2 of the table.

STAR MAN: Alexis Sanchez (11.3m)

Missed out last week but certainly looks to be the man who can be the match winner for the Gunners.

PREDICTION: Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal

Manchester United vs Burnley

United have been on a very poor run recently and have to turn things around as soon as possible or their hopes of Champions League football next season will get diminished sooner rather than later. Burnley are on the back of a surprising victory against Everton which certainly would’ve boosted up their confidence. United certainly seem to be the ones who will be looking to take the game to the opposition.

STAR MAN: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (11.3m)

After not netting for five games on the spin, the big man will be definitely be looking to make a statement and silence all his critics.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 3-1 Burnley

Middlesbrough vs Bournemouth

Boro displayed magnificent defensive abilities and quick counter attacking play when they saw out a well deserved goalless draw at the Emirates last weekend. Bournemouth were defensively brilliant as well against Spurs who are yet to be beaten this season. This match might just turn out to be end to end with both sides looking to take the three points.

STAR MAN: Gaston Ramirez (5.3m)

Hasn’t had the best of starts to the season but definitely showed signs of his abilities against the Gunners last weekend.

PREDICTION: Middlesbrough 1-0 Bournemouth

Tottenham vs Leicester

Spurs are yet to be defeated in the league this season but have had a dip in form which was visible in their goalless draw at the Vitality against the Cherries last weekend. Leicester demolished a very defensively poor Palace side and are high on confidence going into this game. An upset could be on the cards as the Foxes have definitely been very unpredictable this season.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (9.7m)

After four blanks in a row and being subbed off early in the last game, the Englishman will be looking to silence his critics by scoring in this crucial encounter.

PREDICTION: Tottenham 1-2 Leicester

Watford vs Hull

Watford are in decent form after losing just one of their previous five matches, showing both attacking prowess and defensive abilities, whereas this Hull team is completely devoid of confidence and seem to be sliding down the barrel already after a very decent yet unexpected start to the campaign. Nothing seems to be going the Tigers’ way and Watford might just find it comfortable at home against their struggling opponents.

STAR MAN: Troy Deeney (7.1m)

The captain has been in good form recently and is pivotal in the Hornets’ attacking game. He will play a major contribution in front of goal.

PREDICTION: Watford 2-0 Hull

West Brom vs Manchester City

The Baggies started the season pretty well, but have faltered recently and this week they face a Man City side that once looked like nobody could stop them, but they themselves are on the back of 2 draws and a loss in the last 3 games. Each side will be desperate for the 3 points but looking at City’s firepower up front, it seems the Baggies will have to wait for at least another week.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (13.1m)

A massive haul is definitely around the corner. A cracker, just about to EXPLODE!

PREDICTION: West Brom 1-3 Manchester City

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool

Liverpool is a team on a roll having won 4 of their last 5 games and this week they travel south to face an out of sorts Palace side. By the looks of it, it seems to be a pretty lively game with both sides having a fair amount of changes but with Liverpool doing just enough to take home the 3 points.

STAR MAN: Sadio Mane (9.0m)

The Senegalese forward, with all his abilities, won’t find it difficult to break down this Palace defence.

PREDICTION: Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool

Everton vs West Ham

The Hammers are slowly and steadily starting to get some momentum having scraped a narrow victory in each of the last 2 games, and this week they come up against a Toffees side that hasn’t had favourable results coming its way in recent weeks. Koeman will definitely be determined to get back to winning ways and will be willing to go all guns blazing against Bilic’s side.

STAR MAN: Romelu Lukaku (9.7m)

The big Belgian will be the man Koeman will look to, to get hold of the 3 points.

PREDICTION: Everton 3-1 West Ham

Southampton vs Chelsea

This fixture is definitely one of the best games of the weekend with both having been in decent form with Southampton having not lost a single game in the last 5, and Chelsea themselves are on a 3 game winning streak. It seems to be a pretty lively game with both sides fighting it out for each and every point.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (9.8m)

After being given a more advanced role by Conte, he seems to be the man to look out for.

PREDICTION: Southampton 1-1 Chelsea

Stoke vs Swansea

As came a run of decent fixtures, so changed the fate of Stoke, who have delivered convincing performances in each of the last 2 weeks and subsequently have moved out of the relegation places. Swansea on the other hand have lost 4 out of their last 5 games and don’t seem to be getting anything right. By the looks of it, it definitely seems to be going Stoke’s way.

STAR MAN: Marko Arnautovic (7.2m)

It seems like it will be one of those Arnie weeks in which his owners are set to be rewarded. He is definitely the man to punt on this week so GET HIM IN!

PREDICTION: Stoke 2-0 Swansea
