Fantasy Premier League Preview – Gameweek 11 – FPL Tips

The 11th gameweek of the Premier League season is upon us and along with it comes an FPL gameweek 11 preview! A few tasty fixtures in this one so plan your transfer(s) and line-up carefully.

Good luck & may your arrows be green!

Bournemouth vs Manchester United

United have been playing some decent football over the last few games and have even had the results to go with it. This fixture certainly seems to be a tricky away trip for Jose and his boys, but with the style of football they have been playing, they should prevail.

STAR MAN: Anthony Martial (7.4m)

He has been single-handedly delivering the goods for the Red Devils.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 1-2 Manchester United

Cardiff vs Leicester

An emotional day for the Foxes which is bound to end in some happiness against an out of sorts Cardiff side.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (9.0m)

He will be looking to dedicate a moment to their late chairman. RIP Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

PREDICTION: Cardiff 1-3 Leicester City

Everton vs Brighton

Everton come into this fixture on the back of a disappointing result at Old Trafford last time out. This week they’re back at Goodison, in front of the home crowd, against a Brighton side who has been scraping results of late. A Toffees win seems to be on the cards.

STAR MAN: Gylfi Sigurdsson (7.4m)

The Icelander is playing in quite an advanced role and always has an eye for goal.

PREDICTION: Everton 2-1 Brighton

Newcastle vs Watford

10 games into the new season, the Toon are still winless and their defensive vulnerability is something the Hornets will surely be looking to capitalise on.

STAR MAN: Ricardo Pereyra (6.4m)

A goal and an assist in the last 2 games. He will surely be looking to build on that.

PREDICTION: Newcastle 0-2 Watford

West Ham vs Burnley

Both these sides come into this fixture on the back of a 3 game winless streak. Both of them will be looking to get some points on the board, but ultimately it will be the firepower each side possess that will decide the result.

STAR MAN: Marko Arnautovic (7.0m)

The Austrian can single handedly turn the game around.

PREDICTION: West Ham 2-0 Burnley

Arsenal vs Liverpool

After a seven match winning steak, the Gunners were finally held to a draw against the Eagles at Selhurst Park last gameweek. On the other hand, the Reds seemed to be back to winning ways after a 4-1 victory over Cardiff, with their main man Salah firing. This fixture has produced plenty of goals in recent years so we should be in for a treat.

STAR MAN: Alexandre Lacazette (9.8m)

He will be disappointed with his missed chances in recent games but he does have a habit of stepping up for his side in these big games.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-2 Liverpool

Wolves vs Tottenham

Wolves, after a great start to the campaign, will be confident going into their home games but they have lost their last two fixtures and now find themselves in 10th place. Tottenham last weekend had to settle for a 1-0 loss at home against the unbeaten Manchester City and hence they will be looking to win this game as they wouldn’t want to fall too far behind the top of the table.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (12.4m)

Not one of his best starts to a league but he does have the calibre to turn around his fortunes with just one performance and this could just be the right time to put in one.

PREDICTION: Wolves 0-2 Tottenham

Manchester City vs Southampton

All is going well for the Citizens and there seems to be nothing stopping them. Still unbeaten, the top scorers in the league and the team with the most number of clean sheets, they haven’t put a foot wrong so far this season. Southampton will be going into this fixture thinking about damage limitation as City can be relentless at home.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (11.3m)

The Argentine is always a threat when City play on their own turf and he is surely one of the first ones to pop in to your head when you hear the word accolade “star man”.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 3-0 Southampton

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

Chelsea are on the back of a thumping victory against Burnley last weekend and that was without their top scorer in their team. Palace did manage to earn a draw last weekend but were lucky to get that penalty in the dying moments of the game. Chelsea are still unbeaten and beating them will pose a huge task for the Eagles. A victory in this game just seems beyond expectation for this Palace team.

STAR MAN: Ross Barkley (5.8m)

This man has finally burst onto the scene with the Blues and will be looking to continue this good form to maintain his place in this team.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 3-1 Crystal Palace

Huddersfield vs Fulham

Huddersfield town are currently bottom of the table with no victories and are struggling to create any sort of momentum whatsoever. Fulham on the other hand have managed to win one game but have already conceded 28 goals this season and this has been their achilles heel so far. This should be a cagey game with both sides in desperate need of those three points.

STAR MAN: Aleksandar Mitrovic (6.9m)

He has been the man in form for Fulham and does seem to pop up with the goals when needed.

PREDICTION: Huddersfield Town 1-2 Fulham
