Fantasy Premier League Preview – Gameweek 32 – FPL Tips

The first major double gameweek if the season dawns upon us. Now is the time to put those tasty chips into use and break through those mini league charts. Invest wisely, good luck and may your arrows be green!

Fulham vs Manchester City

David faces Goliath at Craven Cottage in London. Fulham, who are likely to drop to the Championship take on title-chasing Manchester City in front of home fans and we are positive that both teams will go for a win in Saturday’s football game. Even though many people expected that Claudio Ranieri would help the Cottagers move away from the relegation zone, the capital club continued to struggle and they are currently sitting in the penultimate position in the standings ahead of Matchday 32. Scott Parker’s men are low on confidence ahead of the visit of Manchester City and we do not believe that they are capable of upsetting the defending champions. The Citizens are eager to regain top position in the standings and we predict that they are going to prove their worth in the clash against the relegation-threatened side. A man to watch in the away team will be in-form attacker Sergio Aguero.

STAR MAN: Sergio Aguero (11.8m)

Having rested through the international break, he will be eager to get going.

PREDICTION: Fulham 1-4 Manchester City

Brighton vs Southampton

Brighton will be looking to extend their winning run in the Premier League to three games when they host Southampton on Matchday 32. The Seagulls are determined to secure yet another top flight survival and seeing that they are only five points clear of the relegation zone, Saturday’s football game is of big importance for them. The Saints are on the same quest and we are positive that there will be fireworks when the two sides face each other in the relegation six-pointer. A close encounter is on the cards and seeing that Brighton and Southampton seem to be evenly matched at the moment, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. You should bear in mind that the two teams played out a 2-2 draw at St. Mary’s Stadium in the first half of the season.

STAR MAN: Glen Murray (6.3m)

His presence upfront will be really crucial in this one.

PREDICTION: Brighton 2-2 Southampton

Burnley vs Wolves

Burnley are fighting hard to secure yet another Premier League survival. The Clarets are only two points clear of the relegation zone, with the team suffering a loss in each of their previous four league fixtures. Burnley have been totally out of form of late and they must be low on confidence ahead of Saturday’s football game against Wolverhampton. The Wolves, on the other hand, aim to cement their spot in the top half of the table, but seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to put our money on Chris Wood and Co. It is well known that the Clarets produce much better showings at home than on the travels, which is yet another reason why a home win should be considered. In each of their previous three meetings in all competitions fewer than 2.5 goals have been netted and a low-scoring affair is on the horizon at Turf Moor.

STAR MAN: Raul Jimenez (6.8m)

He will be looking to add to his fantastic season.

PREDICTION: Burnley 1-2 Wolves

Crystal Palace vs Huddersfield

After suffering elimination in the FA Cup, Crystal Palace will be looking to get back on course when they host Huddersfield Town at their Selhurst Park. The Eagles have been having their ups and downs in the second half of the season and, as a result, they are still sitting in the danger zone in the Premier League standings. The capital club will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field in Saturday’s football game. The Terriers, on the other hand, suffered a shocking 4-3 loss to West Ham United at London Stadium, with the Hammers scoring two late goals. The rock-bottom side must be low on confidence ahead of yet another trip to London and we are positive that they are going to return home empty-handed.

STAR MAN: Wilfried Zaha (6.9m)

He should find it easy against a leaky Huddersfield back line.

PREDICTION: Crystal Palace 2-0 Huddersfield

Leicester vs Bournemouth

Leicester City take on Bournemouth at their King Power Stadium in their first game following the international break. The Foxes have been in a fine form of late and they head into Saturday’s football game following back-to-back wins over Fulham and Burnley. Claude Puel troops are a real force to be reckoned with at home and given Bournemouth’s poor away record, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Jamie Vardy and Co. The Cherries experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the Foxes. In the first half of the season Bournemouth recorded a thrilling 4-2 win over Leicester City at their Vitality Stadium, meaning that the hosts are hungry to get their revenge on Eddie Howe’s charges.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (9.1m)

Time for the double gameweek party!?

PREDICTION: Leicester 2-1 Bournemouth

Manchester United vs Watford

Manchester United will be looking to stay in the race for a place in the Champions League with a win over Watford at their Old Trafford. The Red Devils have been producing thrilling performances in all competitions ever since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer returned to the Theatre of Dreams and now that he’s been confirmed as manager we predict that they are going to stick to their attacking style of play against Watford. Romelu Lukaku has found his form of late and we predict that the Belgium international (if fit) is going to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders. The Hornets, on the other hand, are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but seeing that they often struggle on the travels, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Manchester United’s party at Old Trafford. In their last home game in the English elite division the Red Devils came from behind to beat Southampton 3-2.

STAR MAN: Paul Pogba (8.9m)

His distribution in midfield could be something the Hornets might need to worry about.

PREDICTION: Manchester United 2-0 Watford

West Ham vs Everton

After recording a come-from-behind victory over rock-bottom Huddersfield Town in their last league match, West Ham United will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they welcome Everton at their London Stadium. Chicharito came as a substitute to score a brace against the Terriers and all eyes will be on the Mexico attacker when the Hammers face the Toffees on Matchday 32. Over the years the capital club have turned their London Stadium into a real fortress and we predict that they are going to pick up all three points from Saturday’s football game. Everton, on the other hand, did well to beat Chelsea at their Goodison Park in their last league fixture, but seeing that they are not regarded as good travellers, we predict that Marco Silva’s men are going to return to Liverpool empty-handed.

STAR MAN: Chicharito (6.1m)

2 goals and an assist in the last 3 games. One to keep an eye on.

PREDICTION: West Ham 3-1 Everton

Cardiff vs Chelsea

Sunday’s football game at Cardiff City Stadium pits together two teams with entirely different ambitions in the second half of the season. Cardiff City aim to avoid relegation to the Championship, whilst Chelsea are eyeing a place in the Champions League. The Blues suffered a heart-breaking 2-0 loss to Everton in their last league match and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field against the Bluebirds. Chelsea are three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal in the Premier League standings, meaning that Sunday’s clash is of big importance for them. As always, a man to watch in Maurizio Sarri’s team will be Eden Hazard, who helped Belgium defeat Russia in the EURO 2020 qualifier. Anyhow, Chelsea are more of a team than Cardiff City and away win should be considered. It has to be noted that the Blues are after their fifth consecutive win over the Bluebirds.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (10.9m)

He needs to deliver against this beaten Cardiff side.

PREDICTION: Cardiff 0-3 Chelsea

Liverpool vs Tottenham

All eyes will be on Anfield when Liverpool and Tottenham face each other in the Premier League derby. The Reds are eager to retain top position in the standings, whilst Spurs are eager to put an end to their four-match winless run in the English top flight. Tottenham’s participation in the Champions League is in danger, but despite the fact that Sunday’s football game is of big importance for the capital club, we are tempted to put our money on Jurgen Klopp’s charges as they will not have a better chance than this to win the domestic title. Sadio Mane has been in a splendid form of late and we predict that the Senegal international is going to make life difficult for the opposition defenders. In the first half of the season Liverpool defeated Tottenham 2-1 at Wembley Stadium, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.

STAR MAN: Sadio Mane (10.0m)

People are buying him like hot cakes. Think before investing.

PREDICTION: Liverpool 1-1 Tottenham

Arsenal vs Newcastle

Arsenal will be looking to build on a 2-0 win over high-flying Manchester United when they host Newcastle United at their Emirates Stadium. The Gunners are eyeing a place in the Champions League and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Magpies on Matchday 32. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored his 17th league goal against Manchester United, will be the man to watch in the home team and we predict that he will lead the capital club to a win. Rafa Benitez’s charges, on the other hand, have been in a fine form in the second half of the season and, as a result, they are on the right track to secure the Premier League survival. However, seeing that Newcastle United often struggle on the travels, we are tempted to put our money on Arsenal, who are determined to cement their spot in top four.

STAR MAN: Alexandre Lacazette (9.4m)

Having delivered in each of his last 7 home games. He is one to consider for this one.

PREDICTION: Arsenal 3-1 Newcastle United

Watford vs Fulham

Watford are up against a team that has almost given up on the chance for survival with just 6 games left in the season. Fulham are currently thirteen points away from safety and it seems unlikely for them to make the cut and hence they will be just playing for pride in their final matches this season. Watford on the other hand have had a very good season and will be looking to get closer to that top 6 and gather momentum going on to the next season

STAR MAN: Troy Deeney (5.9m)

3 goals and 3 assists in the last 4 games. One to get in this week.

PREDICTION: Watford 3-0 Fulham

Wolves vs Manchester United

Wolves have been terrific at home this season but are now up against the red devils who have a very good away record under Ole. They have recently just appointed Ole as the manager permanently and that will just add to the confidence going into this game. Should be a very tight affair but we think that the Red Devils might just edge this one by a goal.

STAR MAN: Marcus Rashford (7.6m)

His pace and ability to run behind defences might be something that cold trouble the Wolves.

PREDICTION: Wolves 1-2 Manchester United

Chelsea vs Brighton

Chelsea have been far from impressive this season after making a great start. Brighton on the other hand are right amongst the teams struggling for survival but they do have that extra 2 games in hand which surely does give them an advantage over the other teams around them. An away game at the Bridge though is not easy and winning might definitely be off the cards.

STAR MAN: Gonzalo Higuain (9.6m)

His aerial presence will be crucial in this one.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 3-0 Brighton

Manchester City vs Cardiff

Manchester City are in hot pursuit of the title and two wins will definitely give them a push and help them reclaim that top spot in the table. This two horse race will definitely bring the best out of the Citizens and we can surely expect goals from this game as City will push for the victory.

STAR MAN: Raheem Sterling (11.6m)

After a midweek England hattrick, the youngster will be hungry for more.

PREDICTION: Manchester City 5-0 Cardiff

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace

First game back at the newly renovated stadium will surely be a special occasion for spurs fans and the players. They will be looking to start off on a high note and impress their crowd. Crystal Palace will find it hard going on this slick pitch with. Spurs will be looking to get back into form after winning just one of their last five games and currently just one point above their arch rivals Arsenal in fourth place who will be looking to take any advantage of slip ups from the Spurs.

STAR MAN: Harry Kane (12.5m)

First goal in the new stadium! Who else could score it?

PREDICTION: Tottenham 2-1 Crystal Palace
