Fantasy Premier League Preview – Gameweek 33 – FPL Tips

Gameweek 33 is here with another couple of blanks for a few teams. It is getting really tight at the top of the premier league table and as well as the Fantasy league. So these crucial decisions are sure to affect the end result.Hope you all have a good read and make the right decision.

Good luck and may your arrows be green.

Southampton vs Liverpool

Southampton and Liverpool, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale, face each other at St. Mary’s Stadium on Friday evening. The Saints are eager to avoid relegation to the Championship and, no doubt, a hard-fought 1-0 win over Brighton gave them a confidence boost. The Reds, on the other hand, aim to stay in the race for the title and we predict that the visitors are going to stick to their attacking style of play. Both sides are likely to go for a win in Friday’s football game, but seeing that the relegation strugglers have been struggling at the back in the 2018/2019 season, away win should be considered. Seeing that Mohamed Salah has been struggling to find his best form in the second half of the season, a man to watch in the away team will be Sadio Mane, who is likely to pose a big threat for his former teammates.

STAR MAN: Sadio Mane (10.1m)

This man has been on fire this season and has added a lot to the liverpool attack making him a crucial pick for an away game against his old club.

PREDICTION: Southampton 1-2 Liverpool

Bournemouth vs Burnley

Saturday’s football game at Vitality Stadium pits together Bournemouth and Burnley, the two sides who are eager to avoid relegation to the Championship. Bournemouth aim to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Leicester City, whilst Burnley are eager to build on a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton. The Cherries are safe for now, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season.Anyhow, seeing that Eddie Howe’s men are tough to beat at home, we predict that they are going to grab something from the match. The Clarets, on the other hand, are five points clear of bottom three and, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the Vitality Stadium clash. A close encounter is on the horizon and we believe that two sides are going to share the spoils on Matchday 33. You should know, though, that the Clarets hammered the Cherries 4-0 in the first half of the season.

STAR MAN: Josh King (6.5m)

He could be the man that gives the Cherries that extra attacking impetus to triumph against Burnley and almost certainly confirm safety for his team.

PREDICTION: Bournemouth 1-1 Burnley

Huddersfield vs Leicester

Huddersfield Town will be looking to put an end to their four-game losing run in the Premier League when they host Leicester City at their John Smith’s Stadium. Huddersfield have slim chances of securing the top flight survival, but their pride will be at stake in the season finale. The Terriers will, as always, leave their hearts on the field in Saturday’s football game, but seeing that the Foxes produced a fine performance in a 2-0 win over Bournemouth, home win should not be considered.Claude Puel’s charges totally outplayed the Cherries at the weekend and given Huddersfield’s poor form, we are positive that the visitors are going to extend their winning run in the Premier League to four games. Jamie Vardy scored his 13th goal of the season against Bournemouth, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay.

STAR MAN: Jamie Vardy (9.1m)

He hasn’t been at his best this season but has finally begun to show that he does matter to the team with his recent performances.

PREDICTION: Huddersfield 0-2 Leicester

Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace

Newcastle United and Crystal Palace, the two teams who are almost level on points in the Premier League standings, face each other at St. James’ Park in what is expected to be a close encounter. The Magpies were struggling to find their form in the first half of the season, but they have been producing splendid displays in 2019 and, as a result, they are seven points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace. The Eagles, on the other hand, are in the same situation as Rafa Benitez’s troops and we are positive that both teams will adopt a cautious approach in Saturday’s football game. As previously mentioned, a close match is on the cards and we predict that the two sides are going to share the spoils at St. James’ Park this weekend.

STAR MAN: Salomon Rondon (5.9m)

He could be a real surprise hit with his aerial ability and finishing against this weak Palace defence.

PREDICTION: Newcastle United 2-1 Crystal Palace

Everton vs Arsenal

All eyes will be on Goodison Park when Everton and Arsenal face each other on day 33 of the 2018/2019 Premier League campaign. The Toffees gave fans some cheer at the weekend, with the team beating West Ham United on the road, but they have slim chances of booking their place in the Champions League. Marco Silva’s men are eyeing their third consecutive win in the national championship and the fact that they outplayed Chelsea in their last home game in the English top flight is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Arsenal. The Gunners do not want to give up on their Champions League dream and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Everton. Unai Emery’s troops want this win more than the Toffees and despite the fact that the hosts have been in a fine form of late, away win should be considered.

STAR MAN: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (10.8m)

He will be looking to get a couple and get up on the scoring sheets for that golden boot.

PREDICTION: Everton 1-3 Arsenal

Chelsea vs West Ham

There will be fireworks when Chelsea and West Ham United face each other in a local derby at Stamford Bridge on Matchday 33. The Blues are determined to secure a top-four finish and they are likely to fight tooth and nail in Monday’s football game against the Hammers. A man to watch in the home team will be Eden Hazard, but this clash will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts.West Ham, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a 2-0 loss to Everton and, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the match. Marko Arnautovic has returned to the starting line-up and the Austria international is definitely capable of making life difficult for Chelsea defenders. Seeing that Maurizio Sarri’s men were more than fortunate to beat Cardiff City at the weekend, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw in the London derby.

STAR MAN: Eden Hazard (11.1m)

One of the only few bright sparks in this team this season and will surely look to extent his good form into this game and help his team to a victory.

PREDICTION: Chelsea 1-0 West Ham
