FPL Updates Gameweek 14 – Fantasy Premier League Tips

A week to forget. A 4.1 million gameweek rank is our highest of the season. 43 points and to make matters worse Wan Bissaka’s clean sheet was benched. The main cause of this week’s horror show was that only 3 players didn’t blank.

Patrcio’s barren spell continues and it’s now up to 5 weeks. At least he outscored Fabianski’s doughnut.

Doherty’s attacking threat and clean sheet potential has been non existent over the last few week. Himself and Alonso both scored 1. The success this week comes from the Liverpool wing back, Alexander-Arnold. A goal along with a clean sheet meant he racked up just under a third of our points with 14. Digne’s debut went swimmingly and he missed out on bonus but a point.

Only our Liverpool players scored this week as Salah continued his good record against Watford. Shame he was the VC and not captain. Hazard and Murphy who came off the bench earned single. I’m massively regretting ignoring Sterling while Hazard has been a passenger for the last few week. Richarlison’s 3 points felt like a return it’s been that bad.

The front 2 both blanked. Aguero’s league form in the Premier League has been the complete contrast to him in Europe. Wilson failed to score as Bournemouth have lost 3 on the bounce.

Transfers: Gudmundsson goes for David Silva. Man City are in unstoppable form and as long as he keeps starting, he’ll keep returning.

Gameweek 14:

Patricio and Doherty double up once again and it hasn’t been that beneficial in recent weeks. Cardiff haven’t been scoring freely with just 2 in their last 3. Alonso, Alexander-Arnold and the returning Wan-Bissaka all have games.

Richarlison and Salah face off in the Merseyside Derby. I’m not going to stick my neck on the line for a result but if I had to guess who’d score from either side, it’d be them. Silva and Hazard both have home games against Bournemouth and Fulham. Both teams aren’t renound for their defence.

Wilson and Aguero go head to head in this game. Both have been impressive this season but Bournemouth have regressed in recent week. A high scoring game is what I’m praying for.

Captaincy – Hazard had been booked in as skipper all week but his injury doubt has made me close to choosing Aguero. However, the chance of the haul against a Fulham defence that’s still shipping goals was too good to miss out on. If he’s out VC has gone to Sergio.
