FPL Updates Gameweek 21 – Fantasy Premier League Tips

The second half of the season has started well. Our Wildcard was relatively successful even with the odd punt failing. 76 points has nearly seen our rank cut in half as we’re up to 32k.

Captaincy was and is such an important role into success and a 36 point captain was 47% of our total score. We’re also through into the next round of the cup and up against yet another dead team.

Defence was poor this week with only a single return. None of our defence kept a clean sheet and only 1 of the big six didn’t concede. Doherty got an assist in Wolves’ win. All the rest chipped in with 2 points a-piece.

Hazard and Richarlison both blanked on their away trips. Son picked up an assist, Salah scored and assisted and bagged 12 points for the 3rd game running and Pogba braced and picked up an assist. 3 goals and 3 assists for our midfield.

The short term punt on Deeney hasn’t started off great with him being benched but luckily coming off to block Kamara’s -1 score. Kane scored a peach of a goal with his weaker foot but got booked for diving so only picked up 6. He also didn’t manage a single touch in the box. Worrying.

Transfers: Saved

Fabianski has a home tie with Brighton which might mean a rare West Ham clean. Our 2 attacking wing backs Digne and Doherty have home ties, while Wan-Bissaka faces Doherty’s side Wolves.

Salah is up against title rivals Man City who have left back issues and can’t seem to buy a clean sheet. Pogba’s faces Newcastle and he has 3 double digit hauls in a row and counting. Son travels to Cardiff but looks fatigued so I’m hoping he’s rested in the cup rather than Cardiff. Richarlison has Leicester and hasn’t stood out in recent weeks. Hazard has the pick of the games against Southampton.

Deeney travels to Bournemouth who are struggling defensively, so this is one of his best chances to perform. Kane travels to Cardiff. He blanked in the reverse fixture which frustrated many managers. Spurs are coming off the back of a defeat and least rest amongst most teams.

Captaincy: Hazard gets the armband. Southampton are poor defensively and the easiest fixture with the new manager looking forward rather than back. Kane’s lack of penalty area touches and his sides fatigue made it easy to choose the Belgian.
