Gameweek 29 Sky Preview – Fantasy Football Tips

Gameweek 30 felt a really low scoring week considering there were 3 game days. Liverpool’s shock hammering might have been a factor and there were also four teams who blanked this week.

This gameweek is a double gameweek and provides the opportunity to sell Liverpool players in return for 3 Manchester City fixtures.

This weeks Fa Cup results now tell us there’s only 4 games spread over 3 days.

Goalkeepers

Pope and his Burnley defence churned out another 11 pointer against Newcastle, with Dubravka also keeping a CS in the 0-0. Guaita kept his second CS in a row against Brighton with his highest score of the season. Norwich kept a rare CS against Leicester on Friday night with Krul hitting double figures. Foster was the biggest surprise as he kept Liverpool’s attack out.

Defenders

Alonso braced against Bournemouth making it 3 goals in 2 games for the wingback. A 20 pointer with no CS is insane. Lewis £6.5m scored the winner against Leicester on Friday night and made tackle bonus for the third week in a row. Aarons £7.1m assisted the winner for a 10 pointer. van Aanholt made tackle bonus along with his CS as the Palace defence are looking stronger as the fixtures have become easier. Christensen has made tackle bonus in his past 3 games and also hit 70+ passes this week. Chelsea just need to find a CS.

Doherty’s hot streak continues with 15 points without a CS against Spurs. He scored, assisted and made tier 1 SoT and tackle bonus. I don’t believe it’s too late to hop on with no blank to come.

Midfielders

Sarr ended Liverpool’s undefeated streak with a brace and assist. The budget option has just returned to the starting XI after injury with a 23 pointer and fixtures are great. West Ham’s new signing Bowen £7.9m made his first start and is definitely one to keep an eye on with a single game day down the line. He was MOTM, scored and made tackle and SoT bonus for 16 points. Teammate Antonio scored and assisted against Southampton and Fornals made 2 assists.

Fernandes returned his second 14 pointer in a row with a goal against Everton. The new signing is a bonus and MOTM magnet and with tough fixtures to come, I still feel he’s getting close to a must own. Jota is on fire with another double return, this time against Spurs. He was MOTM again and made tackle bonus for 16 points. Alli assisted twice against Wolves for a 10 pointer. Spurs have got a single game day to come, so he’s worth keeping an eye on.

Forwards

Deeney scored his 6th of the season and assisted against Liverpool. Ayew got double figures for the 5th time this season with a goal and SoT bonus against Brighton. Calvert-Lewin scored for the third time running and everyone has come with SoT bonus At £8.8m he’s great value. Obafemi £5.9m got a rare start and scored against The Hammers.

Captains

Saturday – Liverpool have the early kick off and I can’t see any better options. I’d slightly favour an attacker over a defender.

Sunday – Richarlison away to Chelsea, Fernandes at home to City or KDB (if fit) would be my top 3 picks.

Monday – A Leicester attacker or Grealish away to Leicester. I wouldn’t be using transfers with neither side in good form.

Wednesday – Arsenal and City both play twice this gameweek and I’d only be looking at an attacker. We’ll see the team sheet, so Aguero and KDB would be my go to picks. Aubameyang or Mahrez if you’re looking for a differential.
