This article will look at 5 players selected by under 5% of managers that could be strong differentials for gameweek 13 for a one week punt or beyond to push managers up the overall rankings.
Matt Doherty (£6.0m) – Wolves – 3.3% TSB
Doherty looks back to his old self with attacking potential as he scored Wolves equalizer against Sheffield United. In GW15 Wolves host a West Ham team who have struggled for goals recently and have been leaky at the back. This gives Doherty the potential for both attacking a defensive returns.
Dele Alli (£8.5m) – Tottenham – 2.9% TSB
Alli has had attacking returns in 3 of the last 4 gameweeks and he is a hot prospect at the moment for FPL managers and even though Spurs face Manchester United. He is definitely worth investing in long term as a differential as his price is only going to increase. Mourinho has said Alli isn’t a midfielder and should be playing as a second striker with Kane. Definitely worth investing in.
Lys Mousset (£5.1m) – Sheffield Uited – 4.6%
Mousset has had attacking returns in 5 of the last 6 game weeks with their fixtures only getting easier. Sheffield United face Newcastle, Norwich, Villa, Brighton and Watford in the next 5 gameweeks. A strong differential who seems to be the main attacking threat in the team and is the best budget striker in the game at the moment.
Mesut Ozil (£7.2m) – Arsenal – 0.8% TSB
On his return to the Arsenal lineup he returned 6 points with an assist in the 2-2 draw. He could well be nailed on in this team as they look for more creativity going forward. In gameweek 15 Arsenal host a Brighton side who haven’t been brilliant defensively. The most punty of the differentials in this list but we all know what he is capable of when he performs. Surely he will be the main creator in this Arsenal team?
Willian (£7.1m) – Chelsea – 3.0% TSB
Chelsea lost 1-0 at home to West Ham and Willian was rested for Pedro who was poor. Chelsea will be looking forward to having him back rested for the Villa game. Willian has been one of Chelsea’s best players this season with returns in 4 of the previous 7 game weeks including an away trip to Man City. In gameweek 15, Chelsea host Aston Villa who have had a mixed season and there is definitely room for goals in this one.
