Double gameweek 24 was a disaster until Wednesday night. We were rescued by a Liverpool 2-0 win. A gameweek rank of 169k, nearly halved the rank up to 380k. The triple captain chip was also a success!
McCarthy kept his first shutout for the side against Palace. Sidibe conceded two late goals when it looked like he was about to keep a CS. Soyuncu blanked once again. Robbo and TAA kept a CS each and the latter also registered another assist.
Grealish and Cantwell both blanked against tough opposition. KDB was the only SGW player to register an attacking return. Salah blanked in the first game but scored and assisted in the second to return 48 points as triple captain.
Vardy came off injured early against a West Ham defence that shipped 4, as well as missing the chance to score (probably miss) another penalty. Maupay blanked too and he’s on borrowed time.
Transfers – Sarr to Traore. The injury he sustained hasn’t healed, so he goes for Traore. Wolves assets look good up until the next wildcard and at that price he’s hard to turn down.
McCarthy, TAA and Robertson play against each other. At least one CS would be nice but I’ve an attacker from each team too… Lundstram plays away to Palace, but his place in the side is under question.
KDB is away to Spurs, but he’s one of the few players I’m confident in at the moment. Grealish is away to Bournemouth who won for the first time in what has felt like months. Salah is at home to Southampton and ill be without Mane. Traore travels to Old Trafford which is never straight forward, but I’m confident Wolves will get something and he could be involved.
Vardy gets another chance against Chelsea who struggle to keep clean sheets and they might play into his hands. Ings travels to Liverpool which means I’ve 5 players in this game which is slightly worrying. Maupay has one last chance West Ham. His underlying stats haven’t been bad, but the likes of DCL are performing much better at a similar price.
Captain – Salah. Southampton have improved at the back but I don’t feel confident in anyone else.
