Gameweek 22 Preview – Fantasy Football Tips

After what was a short break from the Premier League, we are back too it with gameweek 22 just over the horizon. In this article we will be looking into all the fixtures, star men and predictions for each game. So without further ado, here’s our gameweek 22 preview:

Sheffield United vs West Ham

Sheffield United have had a great first half to the season, but their form has dipped a little of late and will come up against a West Ham side on the bounce after the re-appointment of Moyes.

Star Man: Sebastien Haller (£7.0m)

2 goals in his last 4, has Haller found his shooting boots?

Prediction – Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

Palace host the Gunners in a London derby that could be a close affair. Arsenal have won their last two games against Leeds and Manchester United, but Palace will certainly put up a fight.

Star Man: David Luiz (£5.7m)

The centre back was key to their win over United, another good performance needed this week.

Prediction – Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal

Chelsea vs Burnley

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 3 games and host Burnley this gameweek. Burnley have not been performing at their usual standards with them sitting 15th and this should be an easy win for Lampard’s youngsters.

Star Man: Tammy Abraham (£7.8m)

A key source of goals for the Blues.

Prediction – Chelsea 3-0 Burnley

Everton vs Brighton

The Toffees have been in good form since the sacking of Marco Silva and look to pick up another win this week over Brighton. Brighton themselves are only 1 point behind Everton, but at home, Everton should pick up the win here.

Prediction – Everton 2-0 Brighton

Leicester vs Southampton

Leicester thrashed the Saints in the reverse fixture and although it may not be as bad as that, Leicester will most likely pick up the win over Southampton this week.

Back after his paternity leave, time to celebrate with a goal?

Prediction – Leicester 3-0 Southampton

Manchester United vs Norwich

United are coming off the back of two disappointing results against Manchester City and Arsenal. They are favourites to bounce back against Norwich, but they wont make it easy.

Star Man: Marcus Rashford (£9.1m)

Can he keep up with Vardy’s scoring form?

Prediction – Manchester United 2-0 Norwich

Wolves vs Newcastle

Surprisingly, Wolves are just 5 points ahead of Newcastle in the league, however with the number of injuries the Magpies have this should be a straight forward win for Wolves.

Star Man: Raul Jimenez (£7.5m)

Class in front of goal and will be on the hunt this week.

Prediction – Wolves 4-1 Newcastle

Tottenham vs Liverpool

The game of the gameweek see’s Spurs host Liverpool in a fixture that is a repeat of last years Champions League final. Liverpool came out victorious in that fixture and it is hard to see anyone defeat them at the moment.

Star Man: Saido Mane (£12.3m)

Both Mane and Salah are key to this team.

Prediction – Tottenham 1-3 Liverpool

Bournemouth vs Watford

A relegation 6 pointer as 18th host 19th. This could be a very cagey game, with Nigel Pearson’s men travelling to the South coast hoping to leave with 3 points.

Star Man: Gerard Deulofeu (£6.1m)

Always looks likely to score and will be crucial this week.

Prediction – Bournemouth 1-2 Watford

Aston Villa vs Manchester City

Villa have a tough fixture this week, hosting Manchester City. City are unbeaten in their last 4 and will be keen to keep up with Leicester, whilst Villa may struggle with the talent the Citizens have to offer.

Star Man: Kevin De Bruyne (£10.6m)

The source to a lot of City’s goals.
